I was always a fan, from the beginning of the season. I, like most, saw that something special. But when the grounded, human, emotional family guy came out, I was hooked. I was having what was probably one of the worst weeks of the year the week of the finale. It was my 42nd birthday, work sucked, things were just out of control. And then, THE WIN. Oh how I have found solice in that. You put me in my happyplace. Now the Ipod I got from my son for my birthday is filled with your songs and videos. And when my students come to my office in work (I am a guidance counselor) and I am wearing my ipod, they know I am in my David Cook induced happyplace. They even bring me pictures of you and have decided to use The Time of My Life as their 8th grade graduation song. I am so stoked. So keep being you, working your way through this success, stay grounded and stay true to yourself.
