They studio versions are all incredible performances, the vocals are intricately performed, very powerful, very musical. No "slam bam thank you ma'm" mentality here in terms of how much care was taken to make a good recording

But, then again, maybe David is just so amazingly talented he can nail these things in a few takes (although I'm sure he worked a lot on the tunes before recording, he's a pro).
Billie Jean, Day Tripper, Eleanor Rigby I thought were awsome live already, but Always be My Baby and Innocent didn't really hit me until I heard the studio versions. Just jawdropping!
