One of my closest friends lives in Indy and sent me an article from her local newspaper with the headline, "American Idol Cook fans show support at assisted living homes" . His Grandma lives in Indy and "All the residents and staff rallied with that knowledge and began joining in to watch American Idol each week and voting for Cook." It goes on to say that once the corporate office of this particular assisting living "became aware of the special relationship to Cook in one of their facilities and notified other branches of their assisted living facilities across the country of the celebrity connection in their mist, ....encouraged all the residents nationwide to show their support for David Cook...the Chief Operating Officer even sent out emails to everyone providing the instructions on how to vote during the program." It shows a picture of when he visited his Grandma and signed autographs with the residents. I thought it was an incredible story and goes to show that Cook has fans of ALL AGES and he is ALRIGHT WITH THAT!!
