To our friends in the NY/NJ area - has anyone been to the Prudential Center ("The Rock") in Newark yet. The Idol tour is appearing there July 30, 31. I ordered tickets today for the 31st show - just wondering how the venue is. Please feel free to respond. Annette

It is a beautiful arena! I hopefully am seeing the tour there as well. The sound system is great, and anywhere you seat, you have a great view of the stage.

Melrose - Thanks - I went up on ticketron and ordered tickets for Wed. 7/30 (Section 232) - upper tier; then I went up to check Thurs. show and there were tickets for Thurs. 7/31 (Section 126) Now I have to figure out which night I am going.

I live like right in between New Jersey and Long Island, so I'm not sure if I'm going to the show in the Pru Center or at Nassau. I'm still trying to figure out which one would be easier for me to get to on the day of the show.
