I am glad it turned more folks onto Collective Soul, they have a great back catalogue to choose from. They have been a favorite of mine for a long time, so when I heard David was doing this song it really did give me goosebumps. It got me through some tough times so I can only imagine what was going through his head.

Their new album Afterwards is fantastic. They are only selling it at Target though, but I got mine via amazon as an import.

Totally with you there. That song has always moved me...I remember being a teenager and bawling my eyes out in my room listening to it. It still gives me that funny tummy feeling. David's rendition had me in tears midway through the performance, it was freaking awesome.

Believe it or not, they are playing the song on the HAC station here right now. I just happen to stumble upon it changing stations. David's version is so much better!

I LOVE that album. December is on it as well. That puppy was on repeat a lot for me.

Honestly, when David sang it on the show, I hadn't heard the song in years! It's hard to believe it had been that long ago. lol
