First, it was just his music (after his audition), then it turned into this whole intoxicating & mesmerizing sensual thing (which for me, began with Hello and has gained momentum ever since). OMG! OK I have to tell you folks this story --
Bought the magazine yesterday, I stopped at the newstand at the Port Authority bus station in NYC, and picked up a few mags and flipped through, nothing, then I saw People and flipped through and saw THE PIC and my breath literally left my chest. Paid for the mag, barely could get on the bus in time too busy drooling. Read the article and drooled some more on the bus home.

Anyway, spent all of last night figuring out how to get my scanned pics online, finally did it (and obviously very pleased that I could perform that little service to all my fellow cookies!!) Got online a couple of times at work, checked out this thread.

On the way home, stopped at the same newstand, flipping through a few more mags, hoping serendipity would hit again. Nothing spectacular. OK, get on the bus, pulled out the mag (yes I carry it with me in my backpack), and decided I would try to be really cool about it and read People start to finish (or at least flip pages from start to finish.) And I'm glad I did, because...

I FOUND MORE PICS!

I can't believe I missed them the first time around (well, yes I can because I was too focused on page 4....)

as soon as i read that this was availabe today on the AI boards, i got up, changed out of my comfy clothes, told my parents i was going to the grocery store, and drove about 5-7 miles to our local store to buy this ONE magazine.

and may i say...DAYUM! the first picture literally took my breath away.
and i will totally be donating to his foundation he is going to start as i also have a soft spot for cancer awareness since my dad has battled it 3 times and is currently cancer free! Thank God!

Clearly the girls are still in "page 4" mode which is understable, heck it took me long enough to realize there was an article to even read.

So i bought the mag today in a supermarket... got really lucky because when i got to the check out counter I saw that all of the racks were basically empty so i find the girl thats putting the new ones up and i ask "Do you have the new People" "It's the one with... (thinks who's on the cover... crap I wanna scream the one with the HOT pics of David Cook but i figure that thats not going to get me anywhere) the very newest one."As I'm trying to hold in all of my excitement to not freak the girl out thinking I'm a absolute nut case lol. She says sure and goes over and open the packaging, hands me one and i quickly say thanx and way away and flip frantically through the pages looking for DC. I found it and then just let out a sigh of relief and stared again. Then i took it home sat down and decided that i should read the article. Awesome interview, I love that he's a hopeless romantic, I am too. The more I find out about the more I am certain that he is as close to the perfect man as a man could possibly get.

so i was completely upset yesterday when i came home from walmart because this issue of people was absolutely no where to be seen, and then this morning when i wake up my mom told me that she needed me to go back over to walmart to get her some ingredients for a dish she is making this evening. i was sorta mad that i had to do this and grudgingly got ready and left to go get the stuff for her. i walked in the door and just happened to glance over my shoulder and noticed a beautiful face staring back at me and it was none other than mr. david cook's on the cover of people! something tells me that the people in walmart had thought that i had lost it because i like took off running toward the magazines and yanked it out its holder and did a little happy dance! **yes, i am that crazy** there were definitely stares and probably a few whispers but i dont care because he looks absolutely amazing in the mag and the interview is great! most definitely the best four dollars that i have spent lately!
