Travis is doing some upgrades to the board. I'm sure he will explain everything soon enough. I've been getting a few random errors in places too, so I'm sure it's all the same thing

I'm thinking it will work like this, you can get the ads removed if you sign up for a membership or sponsorship to the board. Travis may be putting some kind of donation scheme in place.
But you know, I'm not Travis and I'm just taking a wild guess

I'm also seeing some random PHP errors. Don't break the board Travis!

It's actually an advertisment bot and it isn't a person. It's something that Travis has manually added by himself

I was aware of that! I mean you can block BOTS through changing registering info..

it's just to help...it doesn't really make money, but anything to help pay for the site...it appears after every first post...the company says i have to keep it somewhat near the top...
i tried adding the bot and cook picture to make it less appealing? i don't know

Travis, define "after every first post"? After each members' first post of the day? That would explain why we're seeing it so much.
I'm still running my scrub . . .

Well, travis, I think that answer depends upon which one you're talking about making dance -- the cook or the bot!
Somethin' tells me that if The Cook were to shake his money maker like in "Please Don't Stop the Music," the D-C.org-ers might not mind. The bot . . . not nearly enticing in a dance. But hey, what'd I know?
BTW, scrubbing my registry *totally* helped!

Yeah, somehow I don't think the bot would have the same effect.

Very funny! I don't mind it now either since it's a legit part of the site! I was afraid some "outsider" had sneaked in here to make a little money off of our obsession! Heaven knows there will be plenty of those!
