Hi DC fans,

Please reply to let everyone know why YOU think that David has the most incredible, most dynamic, and most charismatic personality on stage and off stage.

We hope that he might peruse this Forum and see this page so he can hear from the rest of the world on this topic. Regardless, I for one promisee that when I go to the AI Tour at the Nassau Coliseum this August, I will print out this thread, and if I should be so lucky to see him at any meet and greet before or after the show, I will personally hand the posts in this thread to him. And anyone one else going to other AI concerts should feel free to do the same. Imagine DC getting copies of this thread at every stop of the Idol tour!!!

So I think that DC has a dynamic, charismatic personality because:

1. He radiates sensuality on stage
2. He absolutely dominates the stage when he sings
3. His amazing ease in handling the microphone stand (Hey chill it, I'm actually talking about the end of the
4. Happy Together performance when he twirled the stand).
5. The devilish, naughty stares (otherwise known to more knowledgeable fans as CFM eyes) while singing
6. His is nice and well-spoken...unlike many other arrogant, spoiled-brat so-called pop musicians with anufactured personalities
7. He is hopelessly romantic (asking someone out on national TV!!!)
8. He exudes a sense of playful innocence
9. The half smile
10. He is mature and thoughtful
11. He cares about people with problems (e.g. wristband)
12. His occasional self-deprecation and he is humble...unlike many other arrogant, spoiled-brat so-called pop musicians with manufactured personalities
13. He is at ease with his looks, comfortable in his own skin...unlike other plastic celebrities with supposed personalities

I think he has all of those things that you listed, but I think he was probably raised very well.

That's what I thought so too, he has got some wonderful, loving, supportive parents who stand by David and his brothers in everything they do.

He's so funny. OMG, he cracks me up A LOTTT xDD

And he's just so sincere and humble. Mature yet innocent. He's got a lot of beautiful qualities.

And he killed me with that "I don't to be the typical sex-symbol". So humble. So loyal to his music and his talent. He just has the ability of blowing me away with his ideas and answers to common questions ... and makes me be a more loyal fan each day that goes by.

Please add this one to the list:

14) Whatever songs he sings, he's able to tell a story through them.

You can add...whatever he sings, I've come to like better than the original version by the original artist!

He's just an all around AMAZING guy. He has so much about him that separates him from the rest. He's definitely not your average rockstar.
I think another reason I like him is because he seems so uninterested in living a "celebrity life".
He just wants to do what he enjoys doing in life and be recognized for it.

Haha. Also, add his wonderful face. It's gorgeous and he has the kindest look in his eyes (even when they're naughty at the same time).
I think he's one of those people who doesn't take anything for granted, too.

when he sings you try to drink all of it in like fine wine, you cant get enought he always leaves you wanting that smile those eyes (CFM) Oh yes!and that deep soulful voice....truely the whole package.

1-he seems very relatable and approachable. he is not like other celebrities whom i feel it would be awkward to approach and carry on a conversation with, he seems very chill and personally attatched to his fans.
2-he sings every song with such a passion that makes it completely real. he is able to convey the message of any song to the listener and move them emotionally.
3-he is super humble and doesn't seem interested in gloating about his win or performing wild antics in order to get attention.
4-you can't mention his personality without mentioning that gorgeous look that he gives whenever he's performing
5-i would have to say that a lot of who he is today comes from the way he was raised and the supportive friends and family he has had around him in his life. these people deserve mucho amounts of thanks from all of us for helping to make cookie into the person he is today!

Because of being a Word Nerd.. Has that beautiful voice.. The Shining existence on Stage.. The Sincere Heart.. The Hotness.. And a Great Family -- that's why he has stolen my heart. *winks*

one of the things i found most fascinating and attractive about david from his first performance( audition)
is his confidence and true sense of who he is...and he stuck with it ...i think some people find that kind
of self- assurance disconcerting and even threatening...because ALOT of people do not have that...
he has alot of self esteem...he is also extremely intelligent and well -spoken...and he has TONS of
charisma which - to me- is not something defineable...it is a whole big combination of factors...some
have it and some don't....DAVID HAS IT BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! he is also not an egomaniac nor impressed with
himself but knows he has talent and is not conceited about it...he has great 'balance'...he seems very down
to earth and candid...i doubt he could tell a lie if he wanted to...
all that and all THAT talent...what a combo....you just don't see it that often...
saying he has no personality was just a really dumb thing...i mean- he had already WON and if he had
no personality he probably wouldn't have..it just made no sense at all.....

Simply because his path in life is to be where he is now.

oh gosh, where do i start? i could write an entire article on this!

1. Everytime he sings, he sings like the song is his own and he is telling his own story or talking to someone, some examples are 'Happy Together' 'Hello' 'All I Really Need Is You' 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' this one especially when he makes eye contact with the camera while singing ' cause i miss you babe and i don't wanna a thing...' yeah i definately spazz out every time i watch that part!!

2. When he sings he just sings like he means every word he is singing and then as if he can't contain himself anymore he just makes the song explode like he can't keep it in anymore. and he just performs the songs so well with his stage presence, and it doesn't stop there but continues to when he is done and being judged, even on elimination night when he is called onto the stage and it goes onto the interviews, and not just the tv ones but the radio interviews also

A personality is just part of someone! Product of a good upbringing, good genes and good friends!

I think it comes from being raised in a good enviroment at home. The credit should go to his mother who raised a good son and family. All due goes to her.

He's well grounded. He knows who he is and what he wants. He has worked hard to get where he is - it wasn't just handed to him on a silver platter. He would have been a musician and perhaps a rockstar even without Idol - AI has just made the rise to superstar much quicker. He is intelligent and well spoken. He's witty and funny. He's caring and giving. When he performs, he doesn't just sing a song, he lives it, breathes it, feels it, and makes you do the same. On the stage, he is just plain captivating.

It's like asking why the sky is blue.. it just IS!!
