Anyone here like european football/soccer? I'm a big fan of Germany national team. I can't wait the competition begin tomorrow. My other fave : Italy, Spain, Dutch. Too bad England isn't there...

I really hope this year will be tough, i luv suprise (as long as Germany play well i don't mind). The competition will be almost a month. So, i hope many soccer fans here so we can discuss it.

Finland sucks in soccer but I'm definitely watching Euro 2008 from the start until the end. I would love to see Switzerland doing well and of course Sweden too.

Indonesia is also suck in football, so i know what u feel... i can't wait to watch Germany play.

Well considering my national team (England) didn't get through, stupid footballers... But I won't go into it because it makes me mad!! I'm supporting Poland or Sweden.

I nearly died watching today's game (Netherlands-Italy)...seriously 3-0. I don't think anyone saw that one coming. I'm a huge HUGE football fan....it's like my obsession (that and F1) and after the disappointment in UEFA Champs League I was really looking forward to Euro 2008. My favorites so far: Italy, France (love Henry), Netherlands - and only cuz England's out! :'(

Yeah, I think everyone in England took it all for granted, like it didn't matter that we lost a few games because England is England so we'll qualify. It's hit us hard that we're not there especially when it's all over the TV.

Although i'm not rooting for any particular team for this year's Euros, i must say Holland did very well against Italy and France and contrats to them, Portugal and Spain for making it to the quarter-finals. BTW Greece lost to Russia and are now out.

I couldn't believe it when England lost in the qualifying. I was like WTF is that suppose to mean????? For me, it meant not seeing Lampard or Terry and I was totally pi**ed off. But I'd love a great final like Italy - Netherlands, or France - Germany...something huge like we had Brazil - Argentina in Copa America.

i think that Romania will make it to the next round i love france but i doubt they will win with the way that they are playing. what's wrong with them? as for Italy i dont want them to make it to the next round im sill pissed about the 06 world cup and i thought they didnt deserves to win and there were so many calls made to help them out.

Yup, KookyC, France's been terrible recently. Their squad is too old. They are in need of more young players. But players like Ribery and Nasri are very good. Unfortunately the latter is out. Italy aren't doing too well either, they look like they're in danger of elimination. As for Romania, well, they might just be another surprise package, like Croatia. Anyway, here are the latest results from Group A Round 3; Czech Republic 2 Turkey 3, Portugal 0 Switzerland 2.

Which means, Turkey join Portugal, the Netherlands, Croatia and Spain in the q-finals.
