In America the show will air on a tuessday night which is wednesday day over here and the show will air wednesday night. So Australia gets the show about 6 hours after it airs in the states

Here in the Philippines, it's 6pm on Wednesdays. Saw David's "Little Sparrow" rendition a while back. But our date is always one day ahead compared to the US. Today is already April 2, 11pm here. Guess we're almost the same time. Since I have no means to vote Daivd...can someone vote him for me. Please"

In England we get the show the same week as in America - the actual show airs on a Thursday and the results are on Friday - although why they can't put them on the same night I don't know.

One positive for you guys in Scandanvia is that you'll still be watching it when its over for us and we're suffering withdrawal!!!!

I'm so amazed that there are people from all over the world here! DC is definitely an international sensation! I guess the one good thing about living in the eastern half of the U.S. is that we get to see AI first and live and we get to vote first. I'll be glad to share my votes with everyone around the world. I got 200 votes in for DC last night!

Here (in Singapore) they air the show about...8 hours after they do in the east coast in the US. But it's crazy cause if you have cable tv together with the standard tv stations, you get to watch 4 telecasts of the same show within a span of 8 hours (6pm - 2am).

I wouldn't mind at all! We have the same timezone here. Local and cable TVs do televise them simultaneously...and they replay it after 2 hours. So even if I miss the first run...I can still watch it. Or if I have seen the "live" telecast...I can watch and fall for David the 2nd time around. I talking too much... geezz

I'll try to keep that in mind when I'm sitting here late at night waiting for you people to post the results.

HEY!!! Me in Pakistan (The only DC fan here in pk I guess?!?!) n i get to watch it at 3pm local time on wed ... so its pretty quick as compared to others....!!

I think it's great that "American Idol" is shown all around the world and DC has fans everywhere! But I know many countries have their own "(Name of Country) Idol", and I wish we could see these other Idol shows here in the U.S. I've seen YT clips of "French Idol" with a guy named Julien who was either horrendously bad or incredibly good, I really couldn't decide, but he was entertaining nonetheless, and I think he actually won. I've seen clips of "Australian Idol" and "Dutch Idol" where the singers were so good. I even saw "Bulgarian Idol" who's winner was fantastic, but I also saw their "bad" auditions and they were just as funny as the bad American ones.

I know it all started out with "Pop Idol" in the U.K., but I've seen clips of the U.K. show Leona Lewis came from called "X-Factor," and Simon was one of the judges -- and he was wearing a suit and tie!!!! Here in the U.S. we get Simon in his t-shirts, looking like he just rolled out of bed, but in England Simon wears suits?? Maybe his mother was in the audience or something!

well at least the most of you guys can watch it on tv later xD...
i'm from germany and there the show doesn't even air on tv -.-...don't ask me why.. ...so i have to watch the show on youtube/dailymotion...=(

when i heard of him it was about the time of "billie jean"..so im kind of "new" here =D
and since then im hook'd on cook xD...
and i'm so happy that i got here to this board, because i didn't know with whom i could talk about him ^^ ..because no one from friends knows him -.-...so yeah i'm kind of the happiest person ever

I think they show it 6 hours late here in the Philippines. Because it's 10am in the morning when here when it is shown in the US.

It's shown in Sweden, but we are so way behind (actually we could watch the first part of Hollywood week yesterday) that it's embarrassing. I survive by watching youtube and reading at places like this.
And I try to cheer myself up with the fact that the best is yet to come for us Swedish viewers. I'm also convinced that, by the time we get so se "Hello" and "Billie Jean", the amount of Swedish DC fans will increase tremendously.

I'm in Holland and I haven't ruled out that it doesn't show here, but I haven't found it yet. All of the guides are in Dutch so unless it's written as "American Idol", I won't be able to read it. I wonder if it's the same thing where they think it will compete with "Holland's Got Talent" which shows here. I think the commercials for that are so funny because they are speaking in Dutch and then yell in English "Holland's Got Talent".
I got to watch and vote for David in America up until a few weeks ago. If anyone on here is from Holland, please let me know when and where it airs.

I live in Israel and AI aired two days late. so sometimes I wait and sometimes I watched in the net.

Here in Denmark we reached the top 12, Thats way to slow for me, so I wach it on a block that puts the show up with about 30 mins delay

In England we get it the same week though a couple of days after the US ... I always try to avoid you tube or the websites so It doesn't spoil the show for me!

Now i'm gonna go and sit in front of the TV, AI starts in 10 minutes. Today it will be shown ''Innocent'' =]
