I wanted to share what I read on E! a couple of weeks ago regarding The Ultimate Cheesy Playlist. As you can see some of the best of best have had at least one "Cheesy" song - i.e. Journey, Madonna, Bryan Adams, others. If you cannot click on the link - copy it into your web browser.

TOML, we all know this was not David's choice - it was handed to him - it comes with the territory - but I also read or heard an interview after the final that when DC and DA rehearsed it prior to the finale in the empty auditorium, our David C put so much feeling and passion into it (really embrassed it)- that the professional interviewer and others who were sitting there duriing the rehearsal were in complete awe - it was like he was singing it for the last time.

I didn't have time to scroll through the whole list to see if it was on there, but my vote for one of the cheesiest songs of all time would be Meatloaf's I Would Do Anything. That might not be the entire song title, but the lyrics repeated over and over again were 'I would do anything for love, but I won't do that.' I never really cared for Meatloaf though anyways.

Did anyone ever figure out what he wouldn't do for love?

Hey...the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" and Richard Marx's "Right Here Waiting" are good songs! I would defend "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", too, if Bret hadn't performed an almost-too-close-to-this-one-it's-hilarious song during the first season of Rock of Love, and claimed to his final pick Jes, "I wrote this especially for you." laugh.gif

I don't think so. But maybe it's for a reason, you know - like, "I would do anything, but no S&M" or something like that. laugh.gif

I read he sung the song twice...Once like he was gonna sing it for the rest of his life, and the second time like who would never be able to sing it again. And the second time brought people, including himself to tears.

I actually like most of the songs on that list. I guess I'm just cheesy!
