We recently supported Melinda's Malaria No More Charity by running a team in the Nashville Country Music Marathon. Melinda herself turned up at the pre race dinner the night before and handed out presents to all the runners and cheerleaders, and then on the day she appeared on the streets to cheer the team on - see

You will see she is wearing her Melinda's Backups sweat suit - a present we bought her when a group of us from around the world (I am from the UK as was there) met at her first solo concert following the Idol Tour last year and held a party to which she attended.

Our current project is to endow a music scholarship at Melinda's university (Belmont).

It's good to know that Back-ups are active in those kinds of projects. I've been involved in one Melinda project before and it was the 'Little Tiger Project.' When I saw her holding it in one of the pictures of her being interviewed, the feeling was so good. I love being part of projects.
