In Japan, the show was aired on TV with Japanese subtitles but 3weeks behind the US.
It SUCKS!!! TOOOOOOOO LATE!!! Impossible for me to wait soooo long!!!
So I had been watching them on the internet nearly on-time every single week.
(And, FOX is a satellite pay-channel here so not many of Japanese might have watched it, I presume...)
Anyway, we can never thank enough for the greatest invention "Internet", can't we?!

I think the reason why AI is not so famous in Japan is just because not many people got an oppotunity to watch it since it's been aired only on a cable channel here. If we can watch it on normal channels, I'm sure AI'll be a big smash popular program here, too.

It's great to hear you've been studying Japanese!
Japanese is one of the most complecated languages in the world, I guess... so you're great.

Yes, it's hard to learn English for us,,,, maybe as hard for you to learn Japanese as you're feeling...
Grammar, letters, and pronunciation are sooooo different as you might have noticed.
But in my opinion, the biggest reason why we are not good at English is not those above.
It is probably because we don't have many oppotunities to use it for our daily life.
(I've heard that the percentage of non-Japanese in Japan is still 1.6%...)
Even if we study it hard with textbooks towards the desk, it's impossible to keep it up without
actually using it. Then, if you feel it "unnesesarry", it's hard to keep enthusiasm for it...
After all, many people give up and stop learning it after students life.... A vicious circle... so sad...

I think I'm lucky that I'm interested in foreign stuffs so at least I have "WILL" to keep up with it.
And English is ovbiously essential to catch up with all DC stuffs so I've been very much enjoying
learning it with HIM!!! There is nothing more interesting than learning language through someone I like a lot!!!
I'm so greatful and thankful to him giving me a great oppotunity to level up my English!

Although I didn't stop in Invercargill, enjoyed southern island such as Dunedin, Queenstown,

When you start High School in NZ you can choose from some 'option' subjects you want to do, so i choose Japanese. And ive keep doing it for the last four years. I dont know why but i just find it a awesome language. Plus i love the food so it cool to go into the Japanese restaurant (there's only one in the city that i live in) and order in japanese.

Its funny that you say you learn english from DC, because there is a japanese band i listen to and i think it helps with it.

I always find it weird when they say NZ is so beautiful. I think its because ive lived here my whole life and i probably dont appreciate it as much as i should. My school goes on a exchange trip to Kumagaya every couple of years, i missed out of going last year though they are going next year but its my last year of school this year so i wont be able to go. DC is a big thing here in the Phils., specially for those who have been hooked up wiht AI *considering that AI is also aired here in FreeTv plus tha fact that Ramielle is a Filipino*. There had been no contest between him and Archuleta. I remember those days when i used to listen to the radio and the DJs would start discussing AI, uh! those polls about who should win DavidC or DavidA, DC always win and reasons are people always see him as somebody who is matured (DA is literally too young), smart, got the talents and the looks and yeah sexy. And besides, i presume that Filipino like rocker foreign singers, DA have been consistently singing ballads (many find it boring).. but to tell you honestly, during the finale i thought DA was gonna win, i was not losing hope that he would win but i then believed there is a very big possibilty he would lose given Simon's knokdown comments on the final performance night.. but all's well that ends well isn't it.. he won.. i'm so happy that day! i texted all my friends and shared to them my outburst of happiness..lol! *reminiscent mode*

STEF : here in ou school we call those subjects electives, they were taken on the last year in college..I think in our curiculum right now, subjects offered are European Languages, Asian culture and stuffs.

Before I got late 20's I used to have almost the same opinion as you in regards to "MY country"... I'd always found it a little bit weird when they say Japan is beautiful. After some experiences in abroad, however, my views have been pretty changed and now I love my country as well as all other countries I've ever visited.
A plenty of time and tons of chances are ahead of you, and I'm sure that someday you'll find how *wonderful* your country is... OK, even if you won't, at least I LOVE it there! Also, I'm glad you find Japanese a awesome language. I, even myself-100% Japanese, find it very complicated though!

For me, the moment of the winner was very exciting and actually a little bit bitter and cruel at the same time
as I thought they both deserved it. It's obvious that DA is amazing in a different way from DC and they are
even incomparable. So I can happily say they both are terrific winners.
Maybe the reason why I prefer DC is a kind of my instinctive preference -which is really hard to explain- and
his versatlity. and it of course does NOT mean DA is unattractive. They both are incredible and I like watching them getting along very well on/off stage, especially when DA makes DC crack up! DA is very very funny
even though he's not trying to be. Seriously, DA sometimes makes me laugh so hard...
His purity is beyond comedians!

Although this is just my opinion, as so many speculations were brought, Simon might have been so harsh
to DC ON PURPOSE estimating a huge amount of reflectional supporting votes to DC. And I personally thought
it would make sense when I found Simon *winked* after DC's comment "Why do something I've already done?" and Simon actually looked so happy when the name of the winner was announced...
The truth has not come out (has it?) but if it was all on Simon's purpose, he was really a trier and it was
very brave thing to do because that attempt might have not worked.
(hope you get what I mean right... I'm not sure if this explanation is making sense to you...)
Also it is true that Simon's comments made the finale more special and gave people a lot to talk.
After all, it came off very well as BUSINESS and that's probably one of the reasons he gets paid a lot, I think.

Anyway, I was so happy with the result, too. and I'm glad the excitement is still *on going* amang all fans

JUNKO yeah, i understand what you mean.. whether simon did that on purpose or not it surely did helped DC. it was kinda reverse psychology, people ussualy symphatize with the underdog..Simon's comment that night was really harsh, many believe DC did not deserve it so they went voting for him like crazy.. backlash, as i would like to call it, until now i can't honestly judge if simon did that on purpose, he was mean and somehow harsh in his every comment ( but that is what his getting paid for, isn't it? ).. it'll definitely be boring if every single day judges would praise and commend the contestant.. back t the point, i do not believe that simon nor any of the judges has been totally biased regarding hte rivalry (not exactly the word for it), i remember simon saying in the crowning night that for the first time he doesnt care who will win.. I've been completely lack of sleep for some months because of DC (and all of them) and oddly enough I'm now getting used to this crazy life. It takes me so long time to read/listen/watch everything in English but I just can't stop! The funny thing is that I've got so many new vocabs through all AI&DC stuff but most of them are not very useful and appropriate for my daily work.... How could I use those words like "seductive""holy crap" or "caress" for work?!

This is still like our PM board... Not too bad for me though.

so i see, you've been in front of the cmputer for weeks. Yes more and more new stuffs about DC and Ai are popping in the internet.. It's addictive, once you start reading or watching something you just get sucked up..It's honestly hard to stop. Personally i've also pick lots of stuff from doing what you've been doing for months. Vocabs especially, good things and bad things. True, lots of nice stuff but sometimes whenever i watch videos on youtubes and read the comments on the pages, sometimes i'd be like huh? words like sexy, seductive and the like are still a bit acceptable in nature (that's for me) but sometimes haven't you encountered really shocking comments, post or writings, i mean not just the f word ( i got used to it this past few months), but really horrible and disgusting things..haha! sometimes i just feel like DC is being sexually harrased by thousands of people through the internet..haha! (i'm laughing, id on't know how to put that in other words other that sexually harrased or raped) I hope you do not misunderstand, i'm not trying to be miss prim and proper, we all know the man is dreamy but smetimes those overly ridiculous stuff are really annoying.. Maybe it was just some kind of culture shock, most of this things that i've read are from westerns..Asians and westerns kinda have a big difference in culture..waha! i hope i can tag some lines for you so you'll know what i mean.. anyway, this may just prove to be another disadvantage of the internet access being so loose to everyone..

Yeah,,, it's good to be able to keep on having sensible talk here... Some threads are moving soooo fast and nearly impossible for me to catch up what's going on there... Also, just an opinion but the number of threads are too many. Especially "Live tour" forum. I wish they were sorted out and organized in order of the cities&dates where lives are heled, for example.
I'm very grateful to moderators for their all amazing work here but it seems that the site itself has grown up incredibly fast and some parts are still beyond their control, I guess.... Hope everything will be more well organized soon.

Strange to say, the More I watch so many fans screaming at him, the more I get calmer... It's hard for me to explain this feeling very well though.
It's not joking but I was seriously concerned about myself being pretty "fangirly" for a couple of past months and it was just out of my control. But the thing is that I was really AWARE of it. I mean, I KNEW it. I was thinking myself like "AM I nuts?!". So it was maybe still curable.

Recognizing him as an "already-huge-star" makes me become more composed.
It might be a kind of feeling like "OK, there is no chance(what chance?! ). Let's admit it, get me back on my own track and be down-to-earth." for myself .
(This is rather embarrasing for me to write it here! but I keep it real just following him. )

Of course I've been aware of his great-greatness since at the very beggining of the show, he now is, however, proving himself as a "certain rare gem" to the world. Too good to be interfered by my trifling cheap obsession.
So, now, I'm pretty happy that I'm able to think like "OK, I'm living my own life and still a huge fan of him." and hopefully it'll get me more capable of grasp a DC's meaning at the soul. (I'm pretty sure it will.)

Yeah, we all have a different type of ways to show our feelings just as we are all different human-being.
It's not that which is better or worse, but just a difference.
So Right, we never critisize them. Nobody deserves it anyway. Far from critisize, we would enjoy most of them.
For instance, some of fanfics are so much fun and exciting to read, incredible page-turner! I can't believe myself reading it even with on-line dictionary... I wish I could understand them as if they're written in Japanese!

It's funny but fav. songs and performances for me are different
and actually the ranking is changing everyday depends on my feeling on each day.

hahaha! i don't know but i kinda laugh at that.. but please don't misunderstand, i wasn't mocking or anything..
we all are fangirls in some ways.., i too have experience those things you've said (though not with DC), surfin the net and watching vids on youtube till my eyes really hurt..lol! There's some point when i miss doing some assignment..hahaha! i was laughing at myself, i feel a bit ridiculous on how persistent i've been on getting even tidbits of information abut someone whom i haven't personally met..haha. i guess you know what i mean! we're bound o get crazy sometimes and being crazy is fun..

a bit serious,haha! yeah right we are..but it doesn't matter, i'm enjoying doing this (i've never written long post before) i hope this seriousness dosn't mean boring to you..haha! BTW, it had just been days and i'm sure after some time the'll be excitement in here.. i'll kill myself if that don't happen..haha! you know, all threads starts like this and i don't think it will hinder other people from posting in here..

Being crazy is very fun, indeed. It's funny that I've been simply amazed by my curiosity.
Not only I just listen/watch/read about him, but also　try to read between the lines every time.
and especially when it comes to a touchy conversation, I even try to figure out "what is he honestly wanted to say but not actually said?" even though he articulates himself perfectly in smart way all the time.

If I was taken with only his "music", things wouldn't be so complicated but because I've been so in love
with his "personality" (and "looks" for sure ) along with his music, I've been so inquisitive....
If you could let me being crazy some more, I'd love to say "It's all your fault" to him.
He has no idea what he does to me. He never has and he never will.

Then, a couple of seconds later now, I feel like I'm extremely hopeless and desperate, thinking "What the hell
am I saying to someone whom I haven't even met before? I just decided to be down to earth girl, didn't I?!".

Personally, for me, being addicted to someone on TV is like "manic-depressive psychosis".

yay! finally got time to post..haha! i have been busy the past week.. we had our preliminary exam and i've been cramming all throughout the test week.. *i hate myself for being to lazy and disorganized with my studies*

crazy is indeed fun isn't it..? to be completely honest with you, i was also first captivated with his music but then large
factor why i also like him is *yes!* because of his personality and looks.. i doubt it if he will have as many fans as he have if he is not himself i mean if he isn't that smart or good-looking) haha!

yes! yes! yes! though all of the song he sung at AI have their own respective singers, he always manage to sing them like one of his own. Not just emulating how the original singer sung it, but he gives them his own magic.. It always sound different and very original..

anyway, last time i checked TMZ.com , they've got some juicy stuff about DC in there.. care to visit? but beware some are not really nice ( like DC's version of billie jean not being original *it's funny, i just mentined about his originality*, and some clips of him with KC ).. Don't take anything to seriously, TMZ is a gossip network, most featured their are hollywoods dirt and scandals.. haaha! i know! what's the sense of checking it if i is no good?!.., but we all want to know everything we can possibly gather about david isn't it.. youtube is full of nice stuff about him, so i've search other things.. though, i'm telling you whatever gossip they try to pull on david, we will still love him won't we,,..

Yes,,,, yes, yes...(watchword ) His personality and looks are definitely big factors making so many girls/ladies falling into him. and yes again, it would make a difference (at least to me) if he was not "himself"... I'd still be a big fan of him but not like this specially stood out by a mile.
Also, let me add his "voice" as well. It was the first point that caught my attention.
It's sensually husky when singing, but gently warm when speaking. (Swoooooooon)
It was like "First time ever I heard your voice" instead of "First time ever I saw your face" for me...

As I mentioned before, it's so hard for me to believe that he's younger than me. I honestly feel as if he's older or at least the same age as me.
I know very well that it doesn't make sense at all sticking on the number. The point I'd like to emphasize here is
not the age but his maturity which is one of my most favorite parts of him.
I have never ever seen anyone who is 25 going on with the same level of maturity as him in my life
so he's just beyond my theory.
It must have been pretty tough to be a public figure suddenly,I guess, but he's been managing himself so well
and standing on his truth all the time.
He's never lost himself and is well-balanced. That is exactly what I don't have and I want to have for myself.

Well,, yes, we come across some "not really nice" articles occasionally but some of them are
not worth serious consideration. Even if they are harsh criticism, let's say;
"Everybody got their opinion (-DC)" or "Just an opiniooooooon. (-SC)".

BTW,,, I feel so bad for them (not only DC but all 10 of them) coming across some crazy impolite fans...
Pushing, shoving, threatenng into autographs, and screaming at inappropriate places...
Completely lack of common sense... I have no idea why those fans can not care of how members would feel to their crazy behavior... (I admit sometimes I'm insane in my mind but will never act like that in real.)
