I watched every epidode of American Idol, thanks to You Tube. No videos on the American Idol site are viewable to anyone in France, perhaps outside the USA. Not sure why. Anyway, I find David Cook to be a genius with his music. All of the songs he sang, whether well known or not, (The World I Know), I thouht his versions were better than the originals. I can't stop listening to them. He should know that, while he will of course eventually do his own work, he is just as original doing other people's music. He has a style and a voice that is unique to him and whether he does Billy Jean, Little Sparrow, Music of the Night or First Time I Was Her Face, I feel like I am listening to these songs for the first time. He is incredibly talented. I am proud that American Idol fans chose someone at this level and not the typical ballad singer with just a good voice.

I live in Canada right now so I was lucky enough to be able to follow all the season live and it was incredible to watch, thanks to David. I am glad to know that there are other French people who appreciate his incredible talent, and hopefully soon, he will perform in France!! :-)
