i didn't know a thing about the actual album until the news broke about it being yanked of of amazon after reaching number 1. is it still possible to get it anywhere? thanks!

Well, someone pointed out in another thread that you can get it on eBay . . . for $400 - $2000 !!!

It was pulled on Amazon for a reason...a good reason...

You see, David didn't post those songs up on Amazon....someone else did, so they were getting the profit from all the sales. Now Idol found out about this just as it was reaching the #1 spot, and David decided to pull it. I'm assuming it's because he didn't want the unfair advantage of having his album available like that, after it's been pulled from iTunes and other places. Plus, he wasn't getting the profits, so why let it keep going? He pulled it, and I can assure you that he'll eventually get the money....so if you bought it from Amazon before it was pulled, like I did, then don't worry....he'll get the money!

I don't know when the album will be available again, and ebay is just ridiculous ($400 for one cd? Sorry, but I don't think David would want ANY of his fans paying that much for his cd, in my opinion...), so I suggest we wait patiently until it's available once again....but if you can't, then help each other out by giving each other the songs, but to those who don't buy it, go and donate what you think the songs are worth to the American Cancer Association....that's the best way to 'pay' for the songs....

Yeah...it's crazy that people would drop that much money on the item when the music, which is readily accessible, is more important than the CD case...IMO.

StephyDee, you got me thinking now. I was one of the people who managed to purchase it off Amazon a few days before it got pulled, thinking that it was still up legitimately. Now I'm concerned about the quality of my audio download since someone else put the album up there...and wonder if the person had access to the original source or if it was a lower quality copy. Any info?

Click on "David Cook: Analog Heart album" - seejaybee 14's xanga site".
The songs will show up when you move your mouse over them.
Richt click on the title of the song.
Click on "Save Target As..."
The songs should download free to were you want them to!

I have a few questions regarding downloading Analog Heart. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I really, really want it because it's so amazing, and I know that David said that we should share it and he "approved" the download. I noticed though, that the little link at the top of this site where it had it as a featured download has been removed. Does this mean it's still okay to download it? And are these websites like "legit" websites, or are they illegal ones that will give your computer viruses? I'm not trying to be... whatever, but I normally just stick with iTunes, and am not familar with downloaidng off these types of sites. Again, if anyone could give me any info about it, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks to anyone who can help.
