David Cook > David Cook > All About David Cook
Kasey
ok so yesterday i had to go to the dentist. when i was in the waiting room i was looking for a magazine to read. not just any magazine, but one that david might be in like people, or ok! etc. so my intention was to find an article about david. because of his last article in people i look at magazines different. i look at them as " something david might be in". so when i came upon a people magazine from the end of may i scavenged through it. sure enough there was a page article on the top three when they had their homecomings. i read it, admired davids picture for about 5 minutes and then i attempted to tear the page out. yes i knew that the magazine wasnt mine, but i had to. i had to have that article. so i slowly tore it out without anyone noticing accept my friend who was watching me the whole time silently laughing.

that article is now in my collection of davids stuff including two newspaper articles, the people magazine and tv guide magazine. im saving everything i can find that he is in.

haha am i pathetic or what.

Lol. Not pathetic in the least.
I do things like that too. I buy stuff just because I think of David when I see it.
And when I was obsessed with Orlando Bloom I did crazy things all the time.

Good job not getting caught!

Same here, the most important things are that it's for a good cause and you didn't get caught. I have done some very naughty things myself for the love of David which I won't even mention here, 'cause it's not legal wink.gif , so don't think the lesser of yourself, please.

No, not pathetic. Years ago, after the Beatles had broken up & there wasn't much left to report about them, my friend & I went to our local library. We we in jr. high. We went up to the stacks where they kept all the older newspapers and magazines. This was in the '70s before all the tech stuff. We looked up articles on the Beatles and ripped out numerous pictures form 1960's magazines. These magazines, the ones intact are collectors editions now! So, no no pathetic

Half of my cubicle at work is now covered in all things David.

Screw all the important work related info (which is all tucked away in my bottom drawer). Anything David related is so much more important.

So if what you're doing could possibly be considered pathetic, then sign me up for the club!

lol u r definetly not pathetic....i am. lol i buy i bunch of those mags just for like a pix of david cook and then i hang it on the corner of my room. If i cant find a article i just go to this website and print them up and hang them. i have soooo much DC stuff on my corner i have to do an expansion....its a wonder that my parents allow me to do this. I have like lyrics to his analog songs, i have 3 pages of pix during all of his performances, articles, pix in magazines, polls, its intense....my friends call it a shrine....i call it a piece of art.

i would have done that if it was a new magazine and if it was more than one page. i thought well they will probably just throw it out later, and whats one page missing.

No, actually you're not. If you can hang onto it at least 25 years it might become collectible.

If he's as big as we think he's going to be, it could be worth something someday.
