In an effort to try and do anything other than obsess over David, I FORCED myself to watch some stupid Celebrity Circus show tonight. I ended up going back to my laptop because that show was just plain horrible!!

Earlier, I was at the Y on treadmill and watched "So You Think You Can Dance", and saw this guy named Jamie, and thought of David. He kinda reminded me of David, personality wise... oh, and when the chick he was dancing with, Rayven, pulled his pants down, I was sooooo glad I was holding on to the bars of the treadmill, b/c if I hadn't been, my ass would have slid right into the floor. I started grinning from ear to ear and couldn't stop.... I was thinking of David's GH commercial.

hehe..i didnt even bother watching celebrity circus (read the reviews, mostly all said to "skip"... ) so im watching "So you think you can dance"...its actually not a bad year

yea... i actually really liked all the performances tonight... i couldn't even pick a favorite or even a clear least favorite. i'm glad i happened to turn the tv on tonight cause usually i forget all about that show.

i loved the hip hop performance to "no air"... and that song has been in my head since it aired.

i wish they'd do like a behind the scenes DVD thing for the tour. i'd buy that definitely. i think they're a great bunch and they have chemistry and they're all funny in their own way. goofy too!

Thank you so much for posting it, I really enjoyed it and it bought back some fond memories for sure. I'm feeling a bit sad now, because I miss them all so much, even Simon (okay, maybe just a tiny little teeny tiny bit). They start to feel like close friends after a while, and when the show is over it's feel like I've lost them forever. I wish the producers see it in their hearts to compile a dvd boxset with all the performances, musicvideos and roadshows so I can have a little something to remember them by.

I, too, was unfortunate enough to watch Celebrity Circus. I tried watching it for 30 minutes, but could NOT get into it. Who the hell really cares, ya know?? And Antonion Sabato, Jr looked freaky with that eyeliner on. That look DIDN'T do a thing for him.

That would be a great idea! I loved it when they were all on LK and they were goofying around and laughing at their own inside jokes.

Isn't that when the guy sang "Let My People Go"? That was the funniest thing. Paula and Randy just couldn't keep it together and it was so obvious that the guy singing wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Poor guy!

i couldnt agree more it was an odd year for AI for me this year...i went into it going "ok, this is just going to be like every single year, where only one or two are good....can we just get to the finale"??? but this year, i had a connection w/ every single contestant...they were (and still are) all stars and it was like they, and the judges, became 'family' in the sense that we, the viewers, would anxiously await every tuesday to see their performances, and cry (some of us) every wednesday when one was chosen to leave, b/c we loved each and every one of them

this year of AI had to be my favorite by far not only b/c of Cook but b/c of the diverse talent that was shown, and their beatiful personalities to go along with that talent

...i doubt that there's going to ever be a better year of AI than that of season 7...i love them all

My sentiments exactly. This season's finalists are more endearing, in comparison to past seasons.

Sure, Idol will be back for another season, but I too have doubts that it will be good as this one.
