If I could only use one word, I would say emotional.
You can hear David's passion through his music and that how I feel when listening to it. He manages to make me escape from everything else around me.

How do I feel when I hear David's music?

Transported. When the song starts, my brain just shuts off everything around me, and I just let the music wrap itself around me like a warm blanket on a cold winter's night, and caress me like one would their lover.

Uplifted, inspired, happy.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Ok, maybe I'm super weird, but recently every time I listen to "The Truth", I tear up. The song is so sweet and then so sad and it just makes me... emotional. I listened to AH while eating lunch outside today and it feels like DC opens this window to his heart and invites you in and everything else around just falls away. His music is intoxicating...

emotional is good for me too. i have david in my ears all day at work and i find that the smallest things make me well up with tears. my emotions seem to be very close to the surface now. not true before. i think i was more closed off and in my own little world.

Drugged!

Not only does he make me feel as high as a kite, but the addiction is intoxicating!

There is no escape from the innevitable crash of DC withdrawal
There is no rehab strong enough to keep me
There is no cure...I hope I never find one
There is no use trying...

uplifted, warm, giddy
I had him on my IPod as the dentist put me under so I only heard his singing as I woke.
I've watched the videos so much that when I hear the songs I can feel him, it's like he's in the room. I seem to be in a much better mood nowadays. I think, David sees the best in people, I need to do that more. Hmmm
dcookie94
it's... yeah, uplifting.. ^^ gives me the chills everytime.. even though i've listened to his songs like, a million times.. smile.gif

As much as I listen to David sing and it's a LOT ... I still get goosebumps. His voice speaks to my soul.

I was watching records of AI season 7 and saw DC's performance once again. Hearing and seeing him perform puts me in a trance and so silly to find myself smiling...

Can't believe he'll have that impact on me.
amers19982
I feel free...relaxed...euphoric. I feel like it's ok to express my thoughts and feelings...clearly he was able to convey his in such an understandable, beautiful way...why not me? I love it...my heart is full when I hear David Cook's voice and words.

What I feel when I listen to David is alive, free, and just the feeling that I can do anything I set my mind too. If I'm having a bad day, I just put on my iPod and listen to him and I just forget about all that has happened throughout the day. He sings with feeling and passion and you can hear it, that's one of the reasons why I love him.

Definitely calming..

For instance, I was driving home in a horrible rainstorm last week, with localized flooding of roads. Normally, I would have been really "freaked out" driving in such horrible conditions BUT I had my David Cook Itunes CD on in the car and I was fairly calm the whole way.

Was like riding with your best friend in the car telling you everything was going to be OK.

Totally calming, comforting, inspiring and even energizing at times.. can't really describe it --but his music speaks to your soul!!
melenaka
When I listen to David's music, I feel touched in my heart and soul. I enjoy all kinds of music but there are only a
few musicians/groups that speak to my heart and help me to exhale. My three favorite musicians are David, the late great John Denver, and the group Def Leppard! Weird combo, I know! I wonder if he would consider a cover (or a "better") of either of these artists songs?

Endorphins! That's got to be it. When I listen to David sing or watch his videos it's like this great natural high. I think we are all awash in endorphins here!
aimz
other than him making me feel excited about music again, i mostly feel excitement for him. which is weird, i know. the best way i can describe it is kind of like that scene in That Thing You Do, when their song is on the radio for the first time and everyone is running through the streets to meet up with each other. he and his friends must be overjoyed for this time to have finally come for him.
CanadianCookie
My heart beats and slows at the same time! I feel total relaxation and happy!
His music is the best thing for soothing the mind, body, and soul!

The word to describe how good I feel when I hear his voice sing anything hasn't been invented yet. I love the sound of his voice beyond what any word can describe.
DavidCookieFan15
When I listen to david cook....I don't think of anything else that is going on around me, all I can hear is him. All my problems fade and his soothing voice guides me through the day. When I hear david cook I am at ease and feel like nothing else matters.
