Full Version: Boy, I'm in a Good Mood
David Cook > David Cook > All About David Cook
Scott
How many of you woke up in a really great mood today? Last night's DC performance put me to bed in a good mood and I woke up that way. Listening to the performances in my car (thanks to Willow!!!) boosted that mood further and I've been a happy camper all day. Especially in light of the mid-week posting frenzy re SSB. (BTW, 3 people at work who know I'm a DC fan came up to me today and said, "you know Scott, I thought of you the other night... DC did such a great job on the Anthem!!!")

I woke up exhausted cuz I stayed up too late rewinding David's performance and then waiting for his second song to finally show up online!

But any day that includes enjoying some good DC news is a good day in my books!

I'm always in a good mood when I go to work because I listen to 'Billie Jean' reallllly loudly and sing at the top of my lungs, just to energize myself for my kids.

I missed DC's performances last night, but first thing this morning, I watched them on the internet and I was thrilled. My feet were tapping, my hips were swaying, and there was a huge smile on my face, as I was thoroughly rocked out and entertained by Mr. American Idol himself. When I got to work, a co-worker (who is also a Cookie fan) and I re-watched the vids and chatted about what a wonderful job David did. So, yeah, Scott. I know exactly how you feel: GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Ever since my American Idol tickets came in the mail I've been in a good mood. Even breaking up with my boyfriend isn't bringing me down too much. lol

Yup, he definitely gets my serotonin buzzing.

I have been on cloud 9 all day. Got some really good news at work yesterday and then to be able to top that off by seeing David on TV last night was divine!

although david's performance did give me the warm and fuzzies last night waking up this morning was rough!...i was exhausted from staying up to watch his performance and that coupled with my friend calling at 730 to wake me up to go to the pool was definitely not helpful since i went to bed at about 3...

it's amazing how he does that, huh?

scott, you seem like such a cool guy. if i'm ever out that way, i'm looking you up and we're hanging out. (don't be too scared, i'm in michigan and have 2 little ones. travel, other than to disney world, is rare laugh.gif )

If I have my morning dose of David, my day is awesome ... if I am running late and I dont get my dose on time I get cranky ... David is like my morning coffee - I need it before I can function!!

LOL! Eh, don't worry, I grew up in NYC and now live in Hollywood. I would have to say next to nothing scares me anymore!! I would actually love to meet DC's fans from this forum. I thought about starting a thread about a mass meeting of us-a convention. Then I thought, David must know this is really the biggest, semi-official fan forum of his, so I wonder if he would agree to play for us and meet us one day. Then I thought, it should be in a central location for all North American fans... and I came up with Kansas City, his home town! Can you imagine a private concert/meeting in KC just for us! I wonder if we could pull it off.

there was convention talk around these parts not too long ago. THAT would be a dream come true...a concert for the diehards...where he can play whatever the hell he wants without having to censor it for the AI crowd...that would be awesome!

That would be so incredible!! Great idea, Scott. Yeah, with 7.5 million hits (!!) now on this site I am sure he knows about us. My seratonin level continued to soar last night because I bought a ticket to the Saturday night KC show. I am so excited!

Hee, hee. I have a very small pet. I think only an infant could fit in his carrier!
