Meh, it was okay. Did Shamalamadingdong not pull his characteristic Hitchcock cameo or did I doze off?

I haven't seen the movie, but what Anii is asking is, did M. Night Shyamalan, who directed the movie, make an appearance? He has appeared in very small parts in all his movies up to "The Happening."

Shamalamadingdong... that's a good one! laugh.gif *singing* Ooh ee, ooh ah ah, ting tang, walla walla bing bang, ooh ee, ooh ah ah, ting tang, walla walla bing bang... I know, it doesn't reference "shamalamadingdong," but that just popped into my head...

i thought it could be developed more.

ahaha! i haven't seen it..

Had my hopes up for this movie but alas, it wasn't very good. I'm blaming the writing... really, really bad lines. A few funny spots but WAY too many things that were funny that weren't supposed to be.

M. Night does make a "cameo" but you'll only catch it in the credits!

I had really high hopes also, as I have enjoyed all of his past work. Oh well, it wasn't horrible, just not my favorite!

MW's costar has freakishly big eyes. They were a bit odd and distracting.
sru_gal_8504
she is the sister of bones.

I actually liked it! O_O

It's a little bit undeveloped, but I thought it was entertaining. biggrin.gif

Me and my friends just laughed throughout the movie. I can't believe it's that Spencer Breslin kid that was with them! HAH! The Kid has grown up! XD

I thought it was comedy gold - though I'm not sure that was the intended reaction!
Valkyrie
I thought it was weak, yet very disturbing. I think it was the thought of committing suicide for no reason other than some toxin making you. Some of the deaths were downright gruesome. But, the writing was bad, the acting was meh, and it had the weakest ending of any of his films to date...including Unbreakable.

I didn't see M. Night in the credits but his cameo on IMdB is listed as Joey, the guy that keeps calling her cell. Also i thought there was a guy sitting next to Zoey on the train that looked like it was a relative of his. Maybe i'm wrong about that.

YESS!!

AHAHAHA! Exactly! XD

I thought the acting was pretty okay. Decent, if anything. o_O

One thing that I've noticed was that the way Shayamamalawn O_o or whatever has approached this characters... they seemed to be the anti-hero types. Like Mark Wahlberg's character not being able to think of a solution in a snap! "Ooh, WE GOT TO SAVE THEM NAO!" or anything like that stuff. O_o

mw one statement was pure gold think you scienitific douchebag

I just watched it the other night.
The movie was good. It's just one of those movies that you keep saying "WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

but the ending for me was bleh.
Its like the movie isn't worth watching when the ending was so stupid.
sru_gal_8504
i agree
Mrs.DanielaCook
I haven't seen the movie. I wanted to go see it but now that I hear the ending was crapy I probably won't go see it!
