I was reading Witch's post about this not being fun anymore, and I kind of understand. For me, it has been such a weird ride since Idol was over, with so many appearances by David, with only a few songs sung in those appearances. There is so much press, with mountains of praise and some ugliness too.
I think what I really want is for David to be on my TV two nights a week, just like he was for 19 weeks, and sing something that is HIS choice, HIS way! I loved the anticipation every week.......what will he sing.....will he be able to pull it off? Initially, I would think, will the judges like it? Later, I thought, HOW MUCH will the judges like it, since I knew he would pull it off. In Cougar fashion, I also looked forward to what would he wear, what will he have to say in his interview about his song choices?
Maybe I should just a be a groupie, like the Banger sisters, and just follow him all over the country so I can see him twice a week. , LOL!
Oh well, I just miss the ride that we were on for 19 weeks. I even miss Simon :-)

i do to...i miss this whole ai process so much!! i really wished it could have lasted forever...but alas. Anyway just think though...when he makes his first album he will get a TON of press and apperances!! so just wait till septemeber i suppose

.
Yeah i dont like the haters of david cook either...but they will always be there. That would be kinda weird if EVERYONE liked u...that would get to ur head and make u SUPER cocky. Haters keep u grounded, it makes u strive to be the best u can be....lol woah i just confused myself.

lol its funny we are talking about this because last tuesday I think I was sitting in my living room and I turned to my brother and I was like "Do you know what used to be on today and now its not...." and he said "American IDOL!??!" and I was like ....yeah. LOL It was really fun going through all of that and I also love the anticipation of seeing what david cook would sing every week.

Couldn't agree more, I miss the way I felt during Idols too (it feels like I'm just living these days) - the anticipation an hour before the show started, the stress of waiting for Ryan to read the results, the hornyness of seeing David play his mouth over the mike, the goosebumps when he hit those highnotes, the anger when Simon critisized him, the happiness when seeing him smile and the pure joy when he won, omg, what a wonderful ride this all has been.

I need a Cookie fix really really bad, it feels like I'm stuck in rehab alongside Amy Winehouse, and no matter how much I beg and moan they don't wanna give me what I need.

I agree with you.
I can't handle the 5 minutes of him on Jimmy! It's not enough!

So, I find myself on here and on youtube all day digging up new videos because I miss him so much!
Writing fanfics helps too.
But I loved seeing him twice a week on AI.
Oh well, I'm more eager for the tour now and he's taken over my iPod.

I also admit that I L.O.V.E. Simon.
