It was a really good interview, I thought. The DJs asked different questions and were real easy-going with David and he with them. It was really early for poor David of course. I will figure out how to put it on here later. Got to work now.

I would guess that it was probably a call in - he has been calling into the various radio stations over the last couple of weeks. Just my guess.

I think it was by phone, but I can't find his interview at the site, does someone found it?

I did not see a link either for the rebroadcast. I sent their morning show an email to see if they can share the link to the podcast.

They take a while putting stuff up on the site. I actually stopped listening to that station for a long time and just started listening to it again recently now that they've been playing David. I'm sure it's a call in or a former dj friend would have heard about it, but it sucks I missed it. The one morning the radio didn't want to work at work, ugh.

I've listened to a ton of radio interviews this week, but this was by far my favorite. (Though I did love the one - I forget which one it was, but when Cookie starts talking about cancer and philanthropy the female host busted out with 'I love you!'). Nice mention of the writing process and it sure seems like Cookie got a nice advance.

However, I can't quit cracking up when they mentioned a Cookified "With You". Archie singing that song was hilarious because it was so obviously wrong for him in so many ways, but I've heard the original version a few times and I love it. Now I won't be able to stop thinking about the potential Cookie version. They are absolutely right that he can
pretty much turn anything around and make it amazing.

Oh, and how much did I love that they mentioned Dial Idol to him?! I don't for a second believe that Cook has never heard of it.

Interesting and sweet interview. I love the peaceful way Cookie speaks. He is so clear expressing his ideas!! I love him!!

I actually felt like I got to know a little bit more about him. All the other interviews lately are so cookie cutter (no pun intended). I mean they might as well call me and ask the questions because I know them by heart at this point!

Hmm...or David could just whisper the answers into my ear and I'll answer them for him....whoops got distracted there...

Thanks to you all here for posting the link and sticking with this after I started this topic and didn't keep up with it. I tried back for a couple of days, and I even wrote to Roula to ask for help in posting the link, but she never answered me, even though I told her (honestly) how good I thought the interview was. I don't exactly get that not answering me back thing. I wrote one email to a competitor station of this one during Idol, asking them to pimp DC more, and the host(ess) of the morning show promptly answered me with a big David Cook "Squeeeee" return email, and that has been the start of a beautiful DC love fest between her and me.
But this one has just ignored me. Odd.

Anyway, so then work just heated up, and things got crazy and I dropped out of the MB for a while, and thought nothing had happened here, but I should have known better. The fans of DC.org are really the best, the smartest, the most loyal and the most BEAUTIFUL of all the fans in the world who love any celebrity.
