Was anyone watching tonight? This guy Eli was on, playing keyboard and singing "Walkin' in Memphis"; he was really good!

P.S. Saw the 4yr old girl last week, she was sooo adorable---and brave!!

I loved that little girl, she is too adoreable. I didn't see it on the show but I ran into it online, this clip and the Britney impersonator.

I really like Eli...I hope he goes far! My other favorite was the Elvis impersonator. A little overdone, but he was entertaining!

The little 4 yr old was cute. I really can't see her as having much of a career as a singer, but I bet we end up seeing her in commercials and maybe a movie or tv show. She had a lot of stage presence for a 4 yr old, but not overly fake or precocious.

As for Eli Mattson -- he was wonderful! He's only 26 so I was wondering why he hadn't tried out for AI (or maybe he has but never made it through?) He maybe could have given David Cook a run for his money this year, or he could have been a favorite next season.

In the meantime, though, I'm hoping Eli goes far on America's Got Talent. I've never watched the show in its previous seasons, so I have no idea how the performances, elimination rounds and voting work, so it will be interesting to see how this goes.

I've never watched the show in its entirety either, just caught a glimpse now and then. I think I'll be paying attention this year though...I just watched him again on youtube(thanks for posting it!) his voice is amazing! And you can see it in his face, his eyes, he is singing from his heart. It was very moving. (goosebumps worthy!) If for some strange reason he doesn't make it on this show, I hope he continues to pursue his dream---I would be first in line to buy his CD! And if he continues on in the show...I may be joining yet another forum!!! (This place will always be my first home though-DC#1) Maybe if enough members here like Eli, we can have our own special thread??? Just to show our support???

Thanks for posting that link. I just love his voice! I got goosebumps when the crowd stood. This guy has quite the back story too - no money, taking chances. Voters in the past on this show have always been suckers for great stories (me included)! I think Eli's going to make it

I'm trying to remember how the voting off works. It follows pretty close to Idol - one big group gets whittled down to a smaller group, etc.
