That is a decrease in percentage of sales between this week and last week. Considering the song is a song David had to sing and it wasn't his choice, it's still doing pretty well.

Seriously, considering what I've been able to dig up on the CS of other Idols post-Cluben, it's really amazing that it went gold so fast.

Gold is good. There is a decrease in the sales #'s percentage wise from the previous week. The first 2-digit # I highlighted was the chart position on Sunday (15th). The sales period ends around midnight going into each Monday.

Congrats, David!!! I KNEW it would go gold but even I didn't think it would happen this fast! I'm so proud of him!

It's a huge milestone for him right now but it truly is just the first of many. Even though the sales are down a little this week, I still believe it will go platinum. Once the tour starts, I think it will keep sales at a steady pace. It would have done even better if there had been a tangible copy people could buy instead of downloads only. I know people like me would have bought both. Especially if it had one of his Idol covers with it.
