Hello all! I am one half of the co-founders of Ladies Of the House LLC. My best friend, colleague, and cohort Jacky and I started this non-profit a little over a year ago and are incorporated in the state of Florida as a limited liability corporation. We wanted to put together a website to showcase someone we greatly admire, and his current series House, Mr. Hugh Laurie. But we felt we wanted to do more than just create a fansite. So we decided to also raise funds and awareness for Mr. Laurie's charity of choice, Save the Children. After we 'set up shop', I contacted my local Tampa FOX affiliate and its entertainment reporter, Charley Belcher. Charley interviewed me about our site and I was featured in one of his reports. Charley also spoke with David in LA and told him about his daughter Lindsey Rose who has leukemia. David 's orange wristband is one of Lindsey Rose's and he has mentioned her many times in interviews and the like. Jacky and I also wear one of Lindsey Rose's wristbands as we have decided to take on Cancer research as our second cause in her honor. We also have a sister site called Music From the Heart-A Concert of Caring. We are organizing a concert for early 2009 in Anaheim California that will benefit many charities. Also on this site is a page that will get you to information on a July 26th concert with Band From TV. They appeared on the Idol Gives Back benefit in April and features celebrities from many different venues. We are also raffling off an autographed baseball signed by 4 of the BFTV members.
