Thought this was neat. My daughter called me last night to tell me what I had missed. She went to the Roayls game last night and after the game they had a huge fireworks show. Apparently part of it honored great people that have come from Kansas City and guess who the last person was...........you guessed it........David Cook. If that's not enough, guess what music they used during the show............you guessed it again....TOML!!! Just thought I would share.

Glad to know I"m not the only one that thought is was really cool. KC will go nuts when he comes there for TWO shows and I will give everyone a report as I will be there!!!! Actually was there for his homecoming and it was crazy then.............I expect now it will be NUTS!!!

I'm pretty sure DC said he actually worked at Royal's Stadium (or whatever its called) for like 6 years (in the restaurants and boxes) - so great that they are honouring him there - he's one of their's

Yes, he said he worked at the "Stadium Club"...which I've actually been to! lol My ex used to work there when we were first married, and they threw me my 1st baby shower! lol ex-hubby bussed tables...(I don't like George Brett now after that... )

Anyway...that is really cool that KCR would do that! They know a good thing...

I love the pictures of him in the Royals uni. And I love that he was a LH pitcher in HS. [my husband lives and breathes Reds baseball so it's a big part of my world ... we love the D'backs too, of course]

I'm totally with you on him in the custom Royals uniform... so hot! My bf and I are baseball fanatics (bf was also a LH pitcher in HS) so it was great to see him at the stadium during homecoming, know that he worked there and now hear that he's been honored there yet again!
