I haven't been watching but I've been keeping up with the winners...

And RUSSIA WON AGAINST HOLLAND WOOHOO FOR THE MOTHERCOUNTRY!!

I'm very excited about that hahaha...and I think I'm going to start actually watching now.

I am such a sports buff and I have been watching Euro Cup 08 and goodness the outcome of these teams it is unbelieveable...you should NEVER count the underdogs out because they are the ones that have been doing well.

So for those of you who haven't watched it here is the laydown:

GERMANY BEAT PORTUGAL so PORTUGAL is out and GERMANY makes it to the Semi-finals!!

Next was CROACIA and TURKEY and boy was this a REALLY great game...eveyone thought that CROACIA had it because they were the favouriate to win but TURKEY came out on top in a shoot out. CROACIA scored in overtime but it doesn't work the same as hockey where if a team scores it is over they have to finish the time...anyways with 3 seconds left TURKEY tied the game and it had to go to shoot out!!! This was def a shocking game but so awesome to watch. Anyways....because TURKEY won they move to the semi-finals and face GERMANY!!

OF course you just mentioned that RUSSIA BEAT NETHERLANDS. Netherlands were the faviourate going in since they were unbeatable and surprise, surprise they got beaten...it was an AWESOME game to watch and really intense but RUSSIA came up on top and now is headed to the Semi-Finals. Now who will they play is the questions of tomorrows game of SPAIN and ITALY...SPAIN is the faviourate to win since they haven't lost a game but where you have one a few your time ends sooner or later but one never knows in soccer. So if ITALY or SPAIN wins they play RUSSIA and it is the final for times and whoever wins those games move on to the finals!!!

I am of course going for ITALY since I am Italian so I have to support my team. Either way I will be happy for them. This has been a really great EURO CUP so far and I have enjoyed EVERY MINUTE of it!!

Anyways...I think I put my two sense in!! hehehehe sorry I just love a ton of sports and when I talk about it I just can't stop!!

I've access to watch Euro 2008, yet I am unable to catch these matches as they're shown at ungodly hours from where I live (ie. 2:45am Singapore time).

Well Spain won against Italy. I caught the end of the game and it was 0-0, and Spain won I believe 3-2 in the penalty shots.

The lads and I were talking about this in work today the conversation went something along the lines of....

I said: 'Well... Germany will make the final then?'

They said: 'Yeah! Germany will make it through to the final, thay always do. But they'll lose'

I said: 'Why?'

They said: 'Because they always do!'

I have no idea if this is true or not, but thats what they were saying!

i hope the final is Germany Spain. Germany winning.

I hope Russia makes it to the final.

Congrats to Germany for making it to the final, and i must give my kudos to the Turks for putting up a great fight and for making it this far in the tournament. Between Spain and Russia....well it's hard to choose. Both temas have done surpirsingly well this year. Spain have a good chance of going to the finals but Russia could still pull off another upset, so they're definitely not to be underestimated. I fancy a Spain-Germany final but i'm fine if Russia wins tonight.

Spain v. Russia right now and i want Spain to winning becuase im so pissed off that Russia beat the Netherlands.

LOL, I couldn't believe that Russia beat the Netherlands. That was....wow, talk about shock. Then again, I heard that each player will receive about 7mill euros if they make it to the quarterfinals.

Now I guess we know why they tried so hard. I'm all for Spain, though. I totally lose it when I see Fabregas.

Spain won 1-0. They are the champions of Euro 2008. Congratulations to the Spaniards on their win. They deserve it as they've been brilliant in the tournament this year. As for Germany and thier fans, they do not need to feel upset as they were beaten by a very good Spanish side. Well done to them too for a very good Euro.

Oh I was so thrilled when I heard on the radio that Spain had won the championship! I was working the night finale was on so I couldn't watch it live.

They really deserved it after all these years.. it is a long way from the 60's!
