I think Im a little crazy. On Monday, Im finally going for my license. yeah.. I know...Im 20 and im just going for it. Well Im trying out the DC theory... which is picking the DC song that calms me down the most, which is always be my baby, and playing it all day all night untill the minute I go for my test. I thought I was crazy, but I just looked at my itunes and it says that Always be my baby has been played 337 times. HAHA. I think Im going insane.


But Ill let you know Monday night if it worked.

I've done the same thing.. used one of his songs to calm me down before I do something I'm nervous about.

I listen to David's music on my mp3 when I feel stressed or angry, it really works like a charm, best medicine ever.

Good Luck!!!! You definitely need a theme song when you take your test. It will distract that part of your brain that worries and you will be able to focus. I waited until I was 22 to get my license, since I didn't really need a car at college and didn't want to add the expense of car insurance on top of tuition.

Remember, few things in life are better than driving around in your car with DC as loud as you want--it's your own private paradise.

Amen to that! I actually drove way past my exit ON PURPOSE just so I could listen to my entire disc, and I've been known to drive around the block a few times so that I wouldn't have to sit in the driveway until the song ended....

You are definitely not crazy! I have DC playing all the time, so much so that I hear his music playing in my head when I even wake up! His music almost seems to help me make it through the day sometimes. So, I can see why you would choose a song to help you get through your test. Good luck, I am sure you will do fine!

i used to be like you (i'm 19 too) but then like 5 months ago i got my permit and loved!!! it.. and then like 5 days ago i got my license!! just stay and town. .and you won't see a lot of big semi-trucks

I'm 18. I went for mine. Failed my test. Went back and practiced the driving course. Figured out the trick to passing. Was told I could go back the next day and try again. Was lied to. Go a new job. No hours. No money. Can't pay for car. No car. No license.
But I'm finally getting hours at work! So maybe soon! I figured I would share my story. lol
