I posted a blog about my experience at our local Relay for Life which was held last night.

I myself am a cancer survivor and know way too many people who have won and lost the battle against many different types of cancer. I decided to dedicate a blog its called "Dedicated to a Cure." Adam is mentioned once because he was one of the laps I walked for. You can read the blog on, www.rae-fabulous.blogspot.com

I posted a lot of poems and stuff that were in the program. Hope you all have or will be participating in your local Relay for Life and if you can't, I hope you'll take the time to donate to finding a cure!!

Thanks in advance for reading this! Xoxo

Congrats on being a survivor - that's incredible. My Relay isn't until Friday, but I'll have my camera with me and I'll be posting to share the experience with everyone smile.gif

My son Elliott has been fighting cancer since he was 12 and is now 17 trying to recover from a bone marrow transplant. So Adam is never far from my thoughts. We did our relay on June 13th. I encourage all to do it for someone they love, wether it is David or someone close to their heart.

I'm so glad to hear how many people are participating!!!!

Elliots mama, just stay strong. My family and I didn't deal with it as long as yours has, but just believe in the power of prayer and that God does everything for a reason smile.gif You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers

It is so neat how us fans have all come together with support. There are so many ways to help, whether its through prayer, buying a wristband, participating in the Relay for Life, or apply to be a volunteer. I have been volunteering for two years, and it is very rewarding. We see so many speakers who are very inspirational!
