In fact, Cook looks forward to David’s dad joining them on the bus for this summer’s American Idols Live! tour that kicks off July 1 in Glendale, Ariz., and runs to Sept. 13. Cook says he will be working on a record at the same time as the tour “So I've got a busy summer,” he says.

Archie is underage, his father needs to be with him out on the road, we all know how the older boys could influence such a young kid

Didn't David also say something complimentary about Archie's Dad during The View? Nice to him to be so supportive. Still think the relationship between Archie & David is so sweet.

Archie's dad on the bus is probably going to be such a buzz kill, though.

It's like, who wants to have a party when your dad is sitting in the room? Ya know?

so . . . six guys total (with Archie's dad)? Man, that's one packed bus . . . hey, they're rock stars. I'm sure they'll find a way to have some fun this summer. Esp with DC & MJ together.

That is true, Archuleta is going to have no fun with his dad goes to the tour.

Oh, man! I didn't even think about the ways that MJ and DC could have corrupted Archie if his dad wasn't on board.

When does Archie turn 18? I'd love to see MJ and DC really take him under their wings. We'd probably end up with a 3-way chest bump. lol.

Yikes!! I had totally overlooked the part where David and Michael could easily influence Archie, given that the latter is at the age of being impressionable.

So it would be good for Archie if parental guidance is advised, and who else better than Daddy Dearest?
