ok so before I tell all of you what happened I need you all to know that my family is ALL about sarcasm. Almost everything we say has some sarcasm in it. So here is what happened:



It was this last Saturday and we had gone shopping and I bought the newest PEOPLE magazine because David Cook was in it for 91 hottest bachelors or something like that. *wished they had more pictures of him and less of Mario but oh well* anyways, I was in the car skimming through the photos when I finally came across david cooks photo. My mother just happened to turn and look at the photo right then and said in her sarcastic voice, "wow that man is not good looking at all is he?" I smiled getting what she was saying and decided to continue with the sarcasm by adding, "no mother, not at all" I then heard her whisper "god" under her breathe and I couldn't help but smile on the outside and on the inside because I think I am finally making my mother see why David Cook is the GREATEST! Also while we are on this issue, I had her read an article about david cook wearing that orange bracelet for Lindsay and she read that and said that, "that was the sweetest thing ever and she really hopes that this fame doesn't go to his head and that he stays like he is because he is a real sweetheart" and I just looked at her and said "mom it won't go to his head.. I mean he is DAVID COOK. he is totally sweet and is always thinking about his family and his fans" Hopefully in 18 days I can convince my mom that david cook is totally awesome before the concert. lol

haha that's pretty cool! I think if you don't get her to think he's totally awesome before the concert, she definitely will once he's on stage.

my mom's pretty cool. She's totally fine with my Cook obsession, though I don't think she herself thinks he's hot.

lol she loves his version of Billie Jean so I think when he sings that she will get it.. Hopefully or I will have to smack her upside the head and make her see. lol

My mom admited that when she listened him singing "the Music of the night" 'cause she loves The Phantom of the Opera... and she was like "wow... that kid sings pretty well" and I was like "come on! It's david cook!"
So everytime i'm watching or listening his music she laughs and says "come on! It's David Cook!"

lol that is really cool. When I had my mom watch that episode of AI when he sang music of the night she said...yeah he is good, but carly was better and I was just like.... "whaa...whattt?" lol because the Music of the night was one of my favorite performances

My mom finally admitted that her was cute too! Cuz i told her that he made the sexiest men list and she was like "oh cool, David Cook is a cutie ^-^" i was too happy after that

lol he should have been #1 i personally think but we can't have everything we want.

I showed my mum a picture of DC the other day and she said 'He's pretty' then she saw another one (a group photo) and said 'but he *Jason Castro* looks just like Alex (my ex boyfriend) he's very attractive'

Lol...

lol REALLY?!?!?

Yeah...Alex does look like Jason C, except Alex has green eyes, and a lil bit fatter. Strange that!

AI is the only show that my mam and I watch together.
She finally realised his brilliance when he sang Hello... I like to wind her up by reminding her that I liked him from the auditions! I do believe she thought he was a little 'scruffy' lol

lol I was talking to my mom in the grocery store and I was talking about david cooks version of Eleanor Rigby and she said if it was a single she would buy it, and I was like REALLY?!? and she was like yeah. I just smiled
