DC was phenomenal on TOML. Slow and sexy, lol.

David looked so tired on the view, like he was ready to fall off the stage, but I did enjoy the slow version of his great song. He is in serious need of sleep. I don't know if this picture has been posted, but it's adorable. It was on one of the YouTube dedications.

WOW he was so good today and im so excited that he shaved!!!! How HOTTTT did he look??? I absolutely can not wait to see him in concert. YAY!!!!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who noticed how tired he looked. He still looked DAMN HOT, but definitely tired. You could hear it in his voice when he sang, too. All the rehearsals and appearances...his voice has got to be getting a bit strained. (That's not me saying he sounded bad...just a bit rougher than normal.)

I wonder...do you think he's sick of TOML yet? I know I would be.

What I love about watching him sing TOML so many times is that he changes it around a little bit every time, When he sang on the Jay Leno he had that high note in the middle that isn't usually there and I LOVED IT! I love the fact that he takes his song and changes it up. It just shows once again how amazing he is.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that he sang TOML. I love it but I would have loved to hear something new (as would he, which is probably why he keeps changing it up).

I didn't think he looked the least bit tired.. I actually thought he looked rested. Go figure. TOML is great acoustic.
Like the way DC handled the relationship question,. As for Archie, never heard a 17 year old boy say he was too busy to think about girls. School's is out.

I love when he does TOML acoustic....it is just beautiful. I know alot of you are not a big fan of the song. I happen to really like the song. And DC brings it home any way he sings it.

This board is getting ridiculous which is one of the reasons I don't post here anymore. You are sugar coating everything. If someone doesn't like Caldwell, they should be able to say it. We only want the best for David, and many don't feel she represents him in the best light, that is all!

I don't think it's sugar coating; we're being polite. We don't know her personally, and we don't know him personally, so we can't determine what or who is best for him.
At least, that's how I feel.

I have a great deal of respect for DC as a person and for his personal life. I'm insanely jealous at the moment which is totally unfathomable for me. I have absolutely no reason to be. It's not like we are in a relationship or he even knows I'm alive. But I love him.


Would I pick the person he at the moment has choosen for him....No! But I trust who he is as a person and she must be special. There must be something in her that the rest of us are too blind to see.

No matter who he dates.......I'm going to be crushed.

I was kind of on the fence about KC, but then I saw this interview on Idol Rewind where she made fun of herself for saying "yeah!" at the end of her performance and I realized that she has a good sense of humor. I don't care who DC dates (well, I mean I AM interested to know). I'm glad that he has someone to support him that can relate to him on many levels (she's had a lot of the same experiences). Plus she's hot! Seriously. Yay for David. As far as "sugar-coating" things on this board goes, well... I think we're all just being respectful. It takes a certain level of class and maturity not to bash someone you're jealous of. This board is classy. If you don't like that, then go ahead and post somewhere else. We won't miss your negative comments.

Stacey, you took the words out of my mouth. Yes, it's all about respect - it's not sugarcoating in any shape or form. Personally, I don't feel I have the right to judge who he dates or who he doesn't date. What business of that is mine?!? IMHO, I think David would be fine with us judging him on his music, performances, etc. but not on his private life. Sorry to rant but when I saw "sugarcoating" that struck a nerve - you can be respectful of people without sugarcoating (or being negative).

You know...I was thinking about that too. Think about how many times the guy is going to sing this song. You know it's going to be a lot, and I swear everytime I hear him sing it...he does something just a little bit different. It doesn't have to be a big change, but it's just something a little different. Keeps you guessing as to what he's going to do next.

I was all nervous when I read here that David shaved... he just trimmed. I thought he shaved it off totally. You guys have to stop doing that to me this was like the second time...

lol that was what I thought for a second 2 but when I watched it I could breath a sigh of relief! The scruff is still intact

As a scruffy (straight) guy who’s been told that DC resembles a younger me, I have some observations on the facial hair “thing.” DC has a very high forehead and hair line, which I think he is basically balancing with a goatee, having been persuaded to cut the “comb over” bangs that he had earlier. He’s been trimming the sides of his beard more than the goatee.

Since “The View” was outdoors in very bright sunshine today, he probably thought it was best to buzz everything very short with a beard trimmer. There’s a kind of sloppy state between scruff and a full beard that doesn’t look so good in photos or on TV.

DC seems to be a scruffy guy at heart. For the rest of us scruffy guys, it’s nice to read that so many ladies think that’s attractive!
