I cannot find the feed; but when the media day took place where they interviewed the Idols this past week - while they where rehearsing - I think David had a v-neck t-shirt on and I think he was wearing the Necklace.

I haven't seen THE VIEW yet because I am work. It is very interesting the necklace is missing. It is also so funny that we are all so observant about this man that we notice every minute thing about him!!! HA!

That's the first thing I noticed when he came out. I wear mine and have gotten compliments on it. Some people look at me strange when I tell them why I wear it. Like aren't you alittle too old to be a fangirl?

Maybe we should get him an new one? In case it really IS broken?

I stopped into a record store the other day and the young guy who waited on me had a really neat neckace that a friend made for him.

The band portion around the neck was like a shell and suede material braid and then there was a guitar pick dangling down like a pendant. It is hard to describe, but it was really nice.

I have to go back and get the girl's email to see if she could make one.

It is really sharp looking - I am not explaining it very well.

I also noticed that "the necklace" was gone! I also don't wear the same necklace every day for months (as some people have mentioned) so I'm thinking he either forgot or decided to change it up a bit.

I have noticed that he's wearing a new one that I can't quite tell what it is. It seems to be on a black cord and the pendant looks kind of like it's heart-shaped. I first noticed it during the Leno performances and have seen it a few other times since. I think I saw the cord under his shirt on The View today. Just wondering what it is... I'm so nosy

And as for David not wearing his necklace - maybe he was in a rush this morning and didn't put it on. I know I've forgotten things when I'm in a rush. He was wearing it the other day for the media day for the tour - I'm sure he will be wearing it again.

I wondered that, too, because I have seen him wear it on a few occasions--I have some guitar pick necklaces, and it kinda looks like it may be a guitar pick, but I don't know...

The star-and-handcuff necklace has become so associated with him that it's very noticeable when he's not wearing it. However, like most of you, I'm just inclined to believe that he probably just forgot it. I have a nice diamond pendant that my hubby gave me that I wear almost every day, but there have been days that I have been running late for work that I forget to put it on, and then I feel naked until I get home.

Seriously, though, David not wearing his necklace is nothing to get agitated about.

He's worn that necklace in public for about two months of his 25 years of life.

Was he even wearing a necklace? I have a friend who is very fair skinned, and when she is out in the sun her jewelry literally burns her. He looked a little sunburned already, quite adorable I must say, maybe the because of the heat he didn't wear one????
