Has anyone else noticed that during interviews, the idols keep saying that they'll each get to perform 3 to 5 songs. But it doesn't sound like they will have any group numbers...maybe some duets but thats about it.
And Whoopi on the View this morning said that the idols will perform in elimination order.

Yeah, it will be like this Chikezie, Ramiele, MJ, Kristy, Carly, Brooke, Jason, Syesha, DA, DAVID COOK, DC will sing 5 songs.

I'm glad they're saving the best for last even though we will probably all EXPLODE waiting for DC.

I think they all sing 3 songs, Archuelta sings 4 and DC sings 5. There are group numbers and duets. The idosl have said so, and Michael confirmed it in some recent interview.

I did read in MJ's recent interview that there are duets & group numbers. There have always been, I can't imagine the show without it. Bo & Carrie did a great duet of Bless the Broken Road; I wonder if the Davids will duet and what it will be? Their voices blend really well.

It makes sense to do it that way because there will be more fans for the ones that stayed the longest, so obviously there will be more DA and DC fans than Chikezie fans in general, so they surely want to keep you waiting.

If DC appeared first and Chikezie last, lots would leave, lol.

Last year, since the season had so much chemistry, they had a lot of group numbers and duets. They even had Jordin out at the very beginning. If I remember correctly, we even saw her before Blake lol. She was out early dueting with Chris Rich too. Hopefully we'll at least get a little Cookie teaser early on lol.
This year had a close group too so hopefully it'll kinda be the same way!

We do? How do we know that? In another thread, there was chatter that earlier in the media, it was said group numbers were nixed.
