Just daydreaming about the future after Idol and I can't help but wish with my whole heart that David gets "discovered" for his acting abilities and we'll be able not just to hear him but to SEE him!
Can you imagine David Cook on the BIG screen? Imagine him as the newest addition in Ocean's 14! Or as a Jr partner in a crooked law firm run by Pacino and Russell Crowe! Oh Lord! Would we survive it?
I can see him being Abigail Breslin's custodial parent in a comedy, or a bad boy biker who is responsible for caring for his aging mom (Dolly?)....Oh the possibilities! Let's hope that TPTB see his potential and box office draw ! Let's face it.. we all need to SEE him...and he's $$$$ in the bank!
What kind of movie would YOU like to see him in?

I would definalety like to see him in a comedy. After watching all of the behind the scenes Coke videos I think he would do really well in a comedy.

Man, I'm with you--I could see him in comedy, action, romance, you name it, I could see Mr. Cook in it! I know I am not alone in the fact that I can't seem to get enough--when there isn't an upcoming appearance or anything new in a mag, no new interview, etc... I start to get a little nervous--completely hooked on cookies.
I can only hope and pray that his many talents are being appreciated by the correct people. He is a true artist and great talent and I want more!

What gives me this hope is that he DID say he'd like an oscar or an emmy in one of the interviews. His acting abilities are almost as apparent as his musical talents. His onstage composure on Leno and the other venues has been fantastic, and he's sharp as a tack regardless of what question he's asked or who's asking it. The only time I've witnessed any stage fright or similar faulter was when he did the National Anthem and I'm sure in time the whole starstruck thing will be long gone.
Wonder if there's any way we can act as a catalyst for an acting career??

Can you imagine how much money that movie would make? Every woman in the country would go see it several times! In the theater, to get a better view.

After seeing his skit on Best Week Ever...I want to see him in a comedy...as the romantic lead of course!
Now who would you love to see as his leading lady in the film?
I say Mandy Moore is the obvious choice! LOL

Can we settle for a comedy or action film without a leading lady? But not a romantic one, not yet, maybe later, in the next five years or so....because i don't know if i can stand seeing him with a hot lady much more being intimate with her (even if it is just a movie). I know this is crazy but i can't help it.

I'd love to see him play a bad guy. We all know he's a great guy so I think it would be fun to see him play something so different from himself. Also a comedy would be nice.

I really can't imagine any role he couldn't play or anyone he couldn't be cast opposite. He has a Gable or Bogart or Pitt or Banderas or Redford or Newman or Pacino or DiNero or Crowe or (god rest his soul) Ledger quality about him.. I think he could do anything...given the right script I think he could even be the next Bond, or Maverick, or Indiana Jones, or McGuyver, or Patton, or JFK, or Romeo, or Riggs, or even Hannibal Lechter if he so chose, or if Mel decides to do another production... the ultimate... JC!
