And as usual, I play all Cookie's songs (from MWK, Axium, his Analog Heart & Idol/guesting performances) co'z I really, really love them all

But the one's currently playing now is "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" (Studio version)

No matter which song you're listening to right now, there's one that's a smash hit. Billboard's 7/16/08 charts posted this morning... great news for TOML. I posted it on the David Cook Chart News subforum so it has a thread in an appropriate place... it's not the most visited subforum... just wanted you all to know if you want to check it out!

I downloaded all the live versions the other day and my new favourite favourite is Day Tripper. It's like a guilty pleasure and puts a naughty grin on my face everytime, especially when Cookie gets to the 'She's a big teaser' part, he he he .

TOML just ended... "American Top 20" with Casey Kasem! Don't usually listen to AT 40 or AT 20 countdown shows, but I admit I was curious to see if DC made it on there yet. Lo and behold, it starts and Casey says "two big debuts this week, Kid Rock and the biggest debut of the week, American Idol winner David Cook!" TOML is played about 40 minutes into the show debuting at #16 (they mix in older hits with the new ones as they count down).
Now this isn't AT 40... TOML is just below #40 on that show which is similar to Billboard's Hot 100 (dominated by Leona Lewis, Li'l Wayne, Usher, Coldplay). But the AT 20 broadcast is Adult Contemporary. It's all about radio airplay and I'm not sure how these rankings differ from Billboard, but I suspect the show only counts spins on the stations that carry AT 40 & AT 20 (usually Hot Adult Contemporary stations).

I'm listening to Incarcerate. I listened to this quite a bit today....LOVE it.

I have his own playlist in iTunes, iPod (for the car), iPhone (for wherever), and I just use the shuffle button.
Seriously though, I'm ready to delete TOML. I don't think its his kind of music at all. Just a little cheesy for me.

Therapy

I had a root canal this morning. I was under the spell of the laughing gas and heard "Billie Jean"! I asked the dental assistant what radio station she was listening to and she told me that it was her own personal CD. She is a David Cook fan and burned it on a CD. The dental assistant has great taste in music!
