$772.00 with 1 day and 16 hrs left. Wow!!!
MellyBelly
WOW indeed! blink.gif
Kehlay
Wow! I wish I had money.
Jenney
Looks like it's mainly one bidder? I'm not an e-bay maven, so not sure about that.....
elizabethrosalyn
Oh my! If only money grew from trees. Then I'd consider bidding on that piece of treasure!
Stacey81
This makes me feel dumb for not buying one for around $300 back in March or April!
Cooked For Cook
oh my god. I wish I had that money. The person who is bidding it is lucky.
ODCD
WOW! That a lot of $$$! I have always been amazed at the value people put on some things. I love DC and his AH album, but I don't think I could pay that kind of money. Maybe that's because I don't make that kind of money. LOL! I wonder what it will go for.
Cookieschick
that's just crazy!!!!for that kind of money you could go to a DC concert..prob 100 times!

That's for sure! Well... the really good seats at the AI Tour in Wash DC are priced outrageously right now... you could only get 1 or 2 tickets for that kind of money. I have to wait until it gets closer to concert time to see if I can get one for something more in my budget.
Rock 'n' Roll Soul
I remember a copy of it selling for over two grand a few weeks ago... I know that a part of the sale of that one went to charity, and so does this one... It isn't to the ACS or anything cancer research related, but any kind of charitable donation is a good thing. This one sends 10% to a horse rescue organization in Oklahoma.
Even with that being said, I still couldn't dream of a bid... Its a great CD, but that is way out of my range.
Kudos and congrats to the person who wins it!

And FYI... there are a couple other copies up for bid as well... still have four and five days left on them.
One is at $200, the other is over $130...
Like someone else said, if I had one of those money trees growing in my backyard...
It would be mine... wink.gif
KristaC
That is hard for me to wrap my head around...some people must really have $$$!
annette
That's great - the higher the bid the more dollars will go to ACS.

I was bidding on another Guitar that David signed right after his win and the $s are being donated to the National Kidney Foundation.

I was back and forth with someone else, every time I bid, the other individual over bid me.

I eventually dropped out - but the current $ amount that will be donated to The National Kidney Foundation is $5,000. Which is so wonderful.

I love David and I would love to own Analog Heart, but I have to think that David would prefer that I have gas and food.

I don't think any of the proceeds of this one are going to ACS, 10% to a horse charity I'm not familiar with.

I bought an autographed t-shirt with 100% of the proceeds going to ACS, same group that katsluvr got her guitar from. I'd consider bidding on anything with all the proceeds going to charity as long as the price didn't get too crazy. Of course, "too crazy" is all in the budget of the beholder, lol.
amers19982
Positively crazy indeed.

I wonder how much of that money they will send to David as payment for such an ass kicking album?...Survey says...NONE but it does go to a good cause for horses.

AMY! (runs to give hug!)

I wonder how much this one went for? I never went back to see, but it cracked me up to see how he signed it 'way back when'!

Hahaha...that is awesome...I maybe would have paid a bunch for that...but the procceds wouldn't go to horses...I would have sent it to David...I know he'll be makin millions and stuff...but I always feel the need to give credit where credit is due. I am sure the horses appreciate the donation if and when that copy sells but I still have issues with it.

Oh- the one that I bid on for the National Kidney Foundation - 100% is going to the NAF. So to date the $amount is $5,000 going to the Foundation.

Hi Dyann, or should I say Kiana? I really like that.

No, haven't gotten the shirt yet, but I wasn't really expecting it until next week. We'll be waiting for the guitar photos for sure!!!!!

That's so exciting that you won that shirt! Congrats! And I love the name Kiana...but all I think of Keanu Reeves--and he really isn't one of my favorite actors, but that's ok! smile.gif

Hi Lisa! *hug*
Yes, I am still here... lol... Just haven't ventured into my old stomping grounds.
Not sure I'd be welcomed back after my little outburst... heehee.

I just went and looked up that copy you posted the pic of because I remembered seeing it on eBay.
It sold for... (get ready) $810.00. And unless the seller chooses do do it privately, there is no mention of a donation to anything. (I know if I sold one for that much of a profit, I definitely would. But that's just me.)

I love the story behind the autograph on it... If I had something like that (actually I do, just not DC related) I would have to be beyond desperate for money to ever sell it.
But that's just me. wink.gif

Thanks!

I kind of like Keanu, mostly in the first Matrix movie. Loved that one!

Awww.... **warm fuzzies**
I know I don't need permission, lol, but I just feel like by mentioning things that bug me I pretty much made myself persona non grata in there, especially when it gets added to my lack of feeling all fangirly lately.

I've had a lot going on in the last week or so that has turned me upside down emotionally, and sometimes when that happens I take out my frustrations on something pretty much inconsequential as long as it looks like a decent punching bag.
We'll see, I guess.

As far as the story behind what he wrote on the CD, I just went back to the auction and copied word for word what she said... I just got a major kick out of it and I adore the hell out of his sense of humor. Its seriously warped... just like mine.

"Ok..since I have gotten over 20 emails regarding the story of the autograph and the writing on it I decided I'd better update this and put it up here. So here's the cute story. He did do the check list himself. I was talking too him when he was hanging out with me at my work (I worked at a record store here in Tulsa) and I was talking about a tshirt that I owned that said "I <3 Sex Candy and Jason Mraz" well as I was telling him about it I had tore the packaging off one of his CD's and I told him too sign it just because I was playing around, I didn't think he'd actually sign it. So he wrote that. smile.gif Am I crazy for selling it? Yes! But I am moving so I am in need of the money. Sorry Dave sad.gif "

Well, at least she admits that she's crazy for selling it... tongue.gif

Serenity65
omg, that is funny! sucks she had to sell it though, but you know the person that got it is happy as hell! hahaha

and Amy, if you ever need to throw punches at anything, you can PM me...I have a lot of padding! wink.gif

Wow, I bet she never thought in a million years anything like this would happen when she got him to sign it! laugh.gif
arizonamom1010
That is so cute -- another example of his sense of humor. I like to see his handwriting, definitely looks like a lefty. No, I couldn't have sold this either. wink.gif
DavidCookieFan15
Yeah I actually told my mom about the analog heart cd that was selling for over 700 hundred and she just shook her head and was wow...and then she said.. If you had the money, I bet you would bid. I tried to put on my most innocent face and said no mother. but I actually would lol.
bioguy
Well, this just proves that David is not just a star now, but a cult favorite. Cult meaning that his fans are truly devoted and here to stay. I'm sure eventually he will do everything in his power to get AH re-released knowing how much his fans like it. The Cook saga continues...
DavidCookieFan15
Oh I really hope he can get it re-released!! THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!
cookiedarlin
OMG!!!! sad.gif i dont have that money
But it is awesome for Cookie..it worth that
DavidCookieFan15
It is so worth it.
