Not only am I a word nerd, I've also been a stamp collector since I was a little kid. So of course, I had to order two sets of Virginia stamps. It may seem like a lot of money to spend for little sticky pieces of paper, but consider as huge as Cookie is going to become, they will be valuable collectors' items someday.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered 5 sets New York. Not sure if I'll use any of them. One sheet will definitely be framed. May end up offering the others to fans who could not purchase because they live outside the USA. And lucky me, I've just been cookified with this post YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!

well, I was just thinking, if we actually use any of the stamps, we will have to use them on stuff that we send to each other so that the person receiving it appreciates the stamp!!!!!!!!

I got my stamps today! I ordered them right after I first posted this on 6/25. They are beautiful and BIG! It is going to be so hard to part with them, you must be worthy before you get one on your envelope! Thankfully, I got 2 sheets!

I think everyone here is worthy!!!!!! As I pointed out earlier....we're the only ones who would appreciate them enough!!!!! I have an email saying mine shipped so they should be arriving anytime now!

I bought two sets so I could save one and use the other on my mail, to spread the Cookie love all over the world. But in reality, I'm not sure I'll be able to part with any of them. I don't know...I'm torn. I want to promote Cookie in any way I can, but I also want to keep him all to myself.

I got mine today, too! Gosh, what a beautiful sight they are! Yes, one must be stamp worthy to receive one from me (anyone remember the "Sponge-Worthy" Seinfeld episode with Elaine???!! My remark reminded me of that!!!)

Yay!!!! My stamps came today!!! And after seeing them, there's no way I'm putting them on my mail. They're gorgeous and they say "Virginia Limited Edition" on them, so being a stamp collector since I was 8 years old (OK, I'm a nerd, I know), I've definitely decided to keep them in my collection. I'll just have to find other ways to spread the Cookie love.

Not only did I get my stamps today, but I also received my "David Cook Rocks" bracelet in the mail today too! Yay!!!

Just to let you all know, you can put anybody photo on stamps.com - it's still pretty cool all the way around. People use this for "specialty things" like weddings, baby pics. I did one for my work even. It's a new thing - but having a DC stamp is pretty awesome, and who knows, I have Elvis (thought not a big fan, but still) stamps from the post office - they may be worth something one day!

Ok, so you guys will know how cookified I am as I also received my stamps and what do I notice but that they reversed the photos! David's in one pic with his guitar and we all know he's left-handed! The pic makes him appear as a righty! And another has his hair parted on the wrong side. I still love the stamps, but geez louise--they need better proofing!!!

You know what? I was watching some Cookie on YouTube and I noticed in the Ford commercial when he dunks in the Basketball one, his tattoo is on his RIGHT arm! So unless that was a body double and they goofed, that was reversed too-is it something that happens when images are reproduced?? Strange!

Did not notice it on the stamps, will have to go check it out!

I got my stamps today. I was happily surprised, since my e-mail said they should get here between 7/9 and 7/14. I see what you mean about the pictures being reversed, nycurbanite. For me, it's especially obvious on the guitar pic and the one where he's singing TOML and you can see Archie, Kristy, and the rest around him. But they look amazing, even reversed, and I got them early!

Just received my "Missouri Edition" stamps. Love them! Now to find a picture frame that will feature them in the manner which they deserve.

Yep, came home from the beach and found my Massachusetts Limited Edition stamps and the David Cook Rocks bracelet, so now I am ready for the concert!

Got my Illinois ones yesterday!! I would love to collect a set from every state. That would be so cool!

I received my New York edition stamps today. I love them!!! I also received my word nerd pin today, its so cute. If anyone is interested in a sheet of New York stamps let me know, I bought a few extras in case someone wasn't able to make a purchase. I have 2 or 3 extra sheets

just ordered mine for iowa only one sheet thought. I'm on a budget so I better stick with one but if there are more next month....watch out....lol
