I was just reading another post asking how many people would stick around and stay fans when the news articles, tv appearances and interviews start to dry up and we aren't hearing about David day in and day out. Of course lots say "of course we'll stay around" and i hope we all show our loyalty and stick with David for as long as he chooses to keep singing. But it made me realize that I have another love that brings back to this fansite every day and it's not just about David. I have received so many feelings of excitement, love, joy and just plain fun reading all your posts and comments on here. It's so much fun being part of this little community, and sharing this experience with all you Word Nerds! I've never taken part in anything like this before David mania came along and hit me between the eyes and to be honest at my (ahem) age, I never expected to. But you have all made me feel a that I am not too abnormal or weird for feeling this way and while there are posts I never have the desire to read (some are just too racy or cruel for me), as a whole this has been a fun and wonderful experience that I've been able to share with all of you. Thank You all you Word Nerds and Cookies for accepting into your fun world!

i love joining forums like this because you just don't get to show your appreciation for the artist *DC* you also get the chance to meet nice and friendly people.. there comes a point in time when that matters more than bickering about why david did this or did that.., i beginning to love all you people in here, i just hope we'll be able to get to know more of each for the rockin years to come..

I was skeptical to post here at first,but I took a chance and did and now I am glad cause everyone here seems so nice,kool,fun and supportive!

I feel the same way too and yes, I too have never taken part in anything like this. It's crazy for me but I love every minute here. To be honest, I thought it would be awkward for me to fit in at first, being married and have kids but then I get to know other fans just like me that are here too, for none other reason but to share our feelings and love for our David. It feels liberating. I filter and choose the topics and threads that suit the purpose of why I am here, most of which gives me a good laugh, and some that well make my imaginations run loose... End of day, I want to be on this journey with David and of course with those who really care to stick around for the ride. Big thank you and kiss to all.

I think all of you are the reason I stay sane around my house. My family is mostly always downing my obsession so thats why I love it here because I can freely express how I feel and know that I will not be rejected. Thank you all for making this a wonderful experience and I am gonna be here with you guys all the way

Yes, that's exactly how I feel, I was a David fan from the very beginning and had so much excitement and new found love to share but nobody cared or wanted to listen, well that's before I stumbled on to the forum, now I feel like I'm part of one big DC loving family to whom I can relate to and belong . Love you guys!

David's fans and this forum are great. I love this place. Case in point, I will be traveling the next 2 days and won't be able to post, and I know I'll be missing all of y'all here. I will have a lot of catchup on Sunday!
