As someone who was actually HERE on this earth to see Elvis when he first performed Hound Dog, I have to say that this guy does NOT have the stuff of which Elvis was made. There was a subtlety about Elvis that no one has been able to duplicate, and the more people try the more they fail. Most impersonators accentuate his movements and his hairstyle and his mouth. His was just natural. Watch the Utube video of Elvis himself performing Hound dog in 1957 and youll see what I mean. There'll never be another Elvis but....

With the same uniqueness of style and subtle movements and a mouth that does what it does to words, I believe David elicits the same reaction that we teeny boppers of the fifties had for Elvis. No one until now, until David, has had the stage presence that Elvis had. To be able to experience two icons in a lifetime is my priviledge, and I hope I see the day when David is as revered as was Elvis. He is by me, obviously!

HE left me "All Shook Up".. smile.gif

I am only 35, so I missed the whole Elvis era, but I have been telling people that for the first time, I completely understand why women swooned over Elvis. You are absolutely right...COOKIE has it, too...and no one has had it since then. YES, the Beatles had the musical talent (and I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan), but I don't think they had the sex appeal that Elvis or our David does.

The little impersonator dude did have a nice smile, though. I'll give him that!

I saw him. He's cute but, no Elvis. He does not even look like Elvis that much. I am a huge Elvis fan and I did not get that excited of the impersonator. But he is cute I will give him that
