......whether it's little kids cheering on Spider Man or people screaming when the scary part didn't even come yet!

so i got this idea for this thread when I was listening to Jennifer Hudson's "And I Am Telling You".

1. Dreamgirls- After Jennifer Hudson sings "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going", the entire audience starts to applaud and cheer for her as if it were a broadway show or concert! (I think I might have started to clap to see if anyone else would lol)

2. The Ring Two- OMG the whole time, people were screaming for no reason. Samara could just be standing there doing nothing, and they still scream. A lot of us had obviously had it, so one guy in the front (one of the people who kept yelling "SHUT UP!") finally said "SHUT UP OR I'LL MAKE YOU SHUT UP!" Then a bunch of people (including me and my friend) started applauding him! I think they weren't too bad after that, so it was good!

3. Ok so my friend and I went to see "The Hills Have Eyes 2" and these obnoxious guys come in during the movie and climb over into the row behind us! So much hassle and disruption! They were making a lot of noise too during the movie too.

4. Wow, this was a really long time ago lol! I went to see the Princess Diaries 2 with my friend, and the part when the guy starts singing "Miracles Happen" in Chinese, I had either water or popcorn in my mouth and I spit it out, some getting on my friend, from trying sp hard not to laugh!

5. We went to go see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for my friend's b-day, so the part when the Basilisk jumps out of the water, I jumped! (and I had a tub of popcorn in my lap). my friend's mom later tells me that she saw some popcorn flying at that part!

6. I went to see Welcome to Mooseport with my brother and two friends, and this old man in the back with this really obnoxious laugh would laugh every 5 seconds, even parts that weren't that funny! We made fun of him afterwards lol.

I have kind of a funny story.

I went to go see 13 Going On 30 in the theatres and it was so packed in there that night that I had to sit at the very front of the theatre. So everyone's enjoying the movie, laughing and crying.
Then the scene at the very end when she goes to see Matty on his wedding day and he blows her off leaving her with the dollhouse and then she sits down on the porch with the dollhouse and the movie goes quiet... someone starts sobbing, really loud. And the whole theatre is silent... and they're crying. It was so awkward/funny.

ha i could imagine! it's funny to see people's reactions when they get really into the movie lol.

and i LOVE 13 going on 30!:D

Funny/embarassing moment that I caused:

I went to see The Green Mile years ago with a few friends. It gets to about halfway through and there is not a sound in the theatre... until that is, I start to cry. And we're not talking little sobs here... oh no!... they were big wailing banshee type sobs, that lasted for pretty much the rest of the feature.

when my daughter was an infant, i mean probably 7 months or so, something like that, my husband and i had taken her to the movies with us because nobody wanted to watch her, and we went to see "captain correlli's mandolin" (or something like that, with kevin costner, i think it was) - anyway, the movie absolutely SUCKED, i mean ROYALLY, but there was one part toward the end where it was just deathly quiet in the film, a very intense scene (i forget what scene it was), but it was so quiet in the theater you could have heard a pin drop, and all of a sudden, my daughter let out the most hellacious fart i've EVER heard - it was SO LOUD, and EVERYBODY started cracking up....i was so embarrassed i wanted to crawl in a hole, LOLOL....

I don't remember what the movie was...but it was my first date with this guy I met at college...OMG! It was amazing! Anyway, we got some popcorn and some drinks and found our seats...we were just talking away and then all of a sudden the dude just dumps half of the bag on me and him, like tosses it in the air...I was like WTF? He looks at me and said, "I thought it would be a great ice breaker!" And we was so serious when he said it, we look at each other, and we both start busting out laughing! OMG! It was hilarious! Then he kissed me! The greatest date ever!

This was a little while back. My Mom and I were bored one day, so we went to see Shrek 2. However, it was a matinee, so every kid within a 20-mile radius was in there and they were so loud. So, she and I decided to head over to Spiderman instead. So we get there and watch it, and the movie gets to the part where that green enemy dude is about to climb over the edge of the building. When it happens, my Mom simultaneously grabs my arm in a death grip and hits me with her anvil of a purse. The remainder of the movie, I was basically unconscious and bruised.

HAHAHA, I have some good ones.

I went to say Oceans 12 with my friend and there were some pre teen girls sitting behind us laughing and talking, and an older much bigger man sitting behind them couldn't take it anymore. In the middle of the movie he stood up and just starts screaming "SHUT THE F*** UP! WHO THE F*** LET YOU IN THIS F**ing MOVIE?! GET A F**ING LIFE. I HATE LITTLE GIRLS!!!"

Could not stop laughing. But we thought if we kept laughing, he's start in on us next...

To add to the Ring 2. I saw the first ring and I was totally the person screaming when she came out of the TV and zoomed forward towards th guy. That little girl still gives me nightmares.

I saw Star Wars Ep: III at midnight. Now, I'm sorry to admit I was part of this, but I think everyone in that theatre had lightsabers and was just waving em in the air all lit up right before the movie. Movie started, and you could hear a pin drop.

Indiana Jones at midnight, there was a preview for a new Brad Pitt movie. Everyone's kind of tired cuz its midnight, we're all pretty quiet. Movie Preview Ends. Silence before the next 1. Guy shouts from the back row in a raspy smoker voice "WELL THAT MOVIE LOOKS LIKE ITS GONNA BE S**T" everyone starts laughing

I'm kinda used to people chearing in theatres. LOTR: ROTK. Gollum goes off the cliff *cheer* Eowyn stabs the witch king *cheer* etc

lmao, speaking of LOTR. I went and saw Fellowship and sat next to this guy, musta been 90 (no other seats) and everyone fight scene he would get so excited and cheer and look at me and point to the screen. I found it soooo annoying. Looking back, he probably read the books when they first came out and they were his favorite..and he was finally able to see them on the big screen. Pretty cool

Ok I have one....

A while back me and a friend of mine wnt to see Shrek the Third. So we get our seats and all the sudden we see this old lady with a huge tub of popcorn sitting about 2 seats next to me. (She has to do with it) In the middle of the movie, it gets to this really funny part and pretty much the whole crowd starts laughing! Then out of the corner of my eye, I see that old lady with the tub of popcorn asleep with her head against the edge of it!! I tried SO hard not to laugh, then my friend was like "Why the heck your face red??" and I pointed to the sleeping lady. All the sudden my friend starts laughing So loud, most of the crowd just stares at her!! Then after the movie I heard that lady say, "Goodness that went by so fast"..
Then me and my friend ran outside and literally started laughing our heads off!

ok i have a few!!!

1) we went to see Step Up 2 and my friend steph screams TAKE IT OFF! when the guy takes off his shirt so the lady behind her kicked her chair really hard!
2)i went to see horton hears a who and we sat in the very front. Nick had his popcorn and dan like grabbed his arm and nick bounced in his seat and he dumped his entire popcorn bucket on dan. the dan wanted to know wat was under the screen, so he kicked it. it was cememnt with a pole in it

haha yeah thats it!

Oh, I have many... I can't remember them all! Also I have no idea what movies I went to see in any of these stories though because the moments aren't related to the movies, haha!

1) For the Paramount part at the beginning of a movie where it makes the trumpet noise (I think it's Paramount anyways...) there was this guy sitting infront of me and my friends. He had his feet on the seat ahead of him and pretended he was playing a trumpet and making the noises to go along with it while the Paramount thing as playing. LOL.

2) My friend's brother dropped his pop (it was in a bottle, thank god) and we were sitting in the back and it rolled all the way down to the front of the theatre and it took him like 10 minutes to find it. xD Mind you the movie was going, it was dark, and people were getting irritated! While me and my friend just laugh, lmao.

3) And of course spilling popcorn all over the floor many many times, haha... And once we put too much butter on the popcorn and it was leaking through the bottom and got all over the floor, lmao.

I had one like that to. Me and a couple of friends were at the movies and one of my friends had a glass bottle of juice. She was finished with it so she put in on the ground. Halfway threw the movie she accidentally kicked it and we heard it roll all the way from the back where we sat to the front and hit the screen. I don't know how it missed everyone's feet! I think people tried to keep it going!

Or the other time my friend was trying to open a granola bar in the middle of the quietest part of the movie. It was so silent except for the slow squeaking of him pulling the wrapper apart trying NOT to disturb everyone. It was so funny!

Or last weekend at the drive in. A lady in a car pretty far from us laughed like every five minutes. It got so bad everyone was imitating her. And she was soooo far away from us and we could all hear her. It wasn't even that funny!

I went to see Iron Man (for the fifth time) and guess what trailer they showed? Twilight! I flew out of my chair, screamed "I want an Edward Cullen!" and did a dance. It was pretty ridiculous.

At the midnight premiere of HP5, every few minutes or so, I would point at the screen and cry, "Thats not in the movie!!!!"

My ex boyfriend worked at the theatre and one night, we went to see Indiana Jones, and he was working, so I grabbed him, pulled him halfway over the counter (he was at the concession stand) and started kissing him. About a minute and a half later, I stopped, looked behind me, and there were five people in line 0.o it was embarassing.

That same night, when Shia came on the screen, I squealed, and screamed, "I LOVE YOU, STANLEY YELNATS!"

They're showing trailers for Twilight already!?!?! OMG! And...I would have done the same thing. I <3 Edward Cullen...

I went and saw Meet the Spartans with my brother, and during the preview of Hellboy 2 they played a song by Rammstein called My Herz Brennt...I freaked out (cuz i LOVE that song) and my brother glared at me and told me to shut up...needless to say i was quite happy during the rest of the previews. ^^

I LOVE TWILIGHT TO!!! but i dont like edward i like jacob!

anyways my story:

When the Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire movie came out me and my friend Laila went together while my parents saw some other movie and we went CRAZY! lol well when we saw rupert grint we screamed, "YEAH REDHEADS OW OW!" and this guy who looked like elvis told us to f' off. then when cedric diggory(forgot the actors name) we yelled, "CEDRIC CEDRIC! HE A HOTTY!" then the same guy kicked my friends chair. then when the part where Hermione is all dressed up for the ball, Laila starts whistling and like ten ppl were like, "WE ARE GOING TO KICK U OUT IF U DONT SHUTUP!" so we started not taking....then there was this hilarious scene where Voldemort right when he becomes human or something he like rubs his bald head OVER and OVER again so laila yells, "YES UR BALD NOW GET OVER IT!" i guess everyone just gave up because they didn't yell back. that was the funniest night ever i started crying during the whole movie because i was laughing so hard

I went to see Hairspray the night it came out in theaters. Everytime Zac Efron or James Marsden would come on the screen almost every girl and woman in the theater (me included) would start yelling and whistling. It was hilarious. I ended up sitting next to these older ladies and it was hilarious. Everytime we saw an someone from the first hairspray we would go on about it. My friend that I went with didn't know that there was a different Hairspray movie, so she didn't get some of the things me and these old ladies were going on about. Everytime they started singing in the movie people would start clapping along with the music and dancing in their seats. People were dancing during the credits. It was just a hilarious night in the movies.

My sister, my nephews, my niece, and I went and saw Flushed Away when it came out. Let's just say, I pretty much didn't see any of the movie. My youngest nephew would sneak away and be off talking to some random person. Then my niece peed all over me. But my sister and I did have an awesome moment during the movie. Everytime the slugs would sing we would get down and sing along with them.

lol i would be joining the audience when james marsden came on too! i saw him in 27 dresses, SOOOO HOT!!!! zac efron, not so much lol. though he did look pretty darn good in hairspray, i don't really like him after he did high school musical. he just got a lil cocky and like, every tween girl loves him lol. i used to like him when he first started out, as cameron on summerland. he was adorkable with his gap:)

I have a couple of random moments:

1) I went with a group of mates to see Harry Potter (the 3rd one i think) and there was one particular moment where something jumped out on screen and as it did my friends (who had already seen it) grabbed me and i screamed my head off

2) I dropped my Jaffa's and you could hear them rolling down the stairs, everyone gave me the evils

3) Some little shit of a kid tipped his entire box of popcorn over my head, so i turmed around and shoved my ice cream on his head. Then got kicked out

Oh and i 4th moment: I went to watch Transformers and when Bumblebee gets his legs blown of the little kid starting crying at the top of his lungs screaming "Bumblebee dont die!! BUMBLEBEE NOOOOO!!!!!"

The 2 I'll never forget:

1. My older sister and I went to see "Harry and the Hendersons" when it came out in theaters (showing my age here...) and at the part where the family is driving down the road with Harry on top of the car, and Harry pops down onto the windshield? My sister screamed LOUDLY and the popcorn in her hands went flying all over everyone around us. It was hilarious! I swear, I'll never forget that!

2. Happened recently. My BFF and I went to see "Sex & the City" and during the sushi scene (my favorite part of the whole movie!), an older guy sitting behind us says "I'm hungry!" (This is funnier with me actually telling it because I can do a spot on imitation of him!)

OMG this first one just happened the other day...

1. I went to see The Love Guru with my BFF and when they are in the midget guy's office, this random gangster guy suddenly shouts "YAY! I LOVE that midget guy! He is the CUTEST!!!" And everyone is quitet for like, a second and a half. Then some other guy shouts in a girly voice, "You are SO right, brotha!!" Then the whole crowd starts laughing.

2. I went to see Hairspray with my Mom the first night it was open. At the end when they all sing You Cant Stop The Beat, it was cool. But When Edna started singing and dancing, the whole crowd started cheering! Same thing with Queen Latifa!! Then when Tracy and Link kiss this group of girls shouts, I LOve you Link!!!

When I went to see Semi Pro I was the only one laughing when Jackie Moon sang Love me sexy when it came on and I thought it was way too funny

1)Ok about 9 friends of mine and I went to go see Kung fu panda(stupidest movie i ever saw)and i was sitting between my friends Reese and Nathan.So when the movie started and they showed the Panda(and this was on opening night so they was a lot or little little kids there like 3 years old)Nathan shouted FATTY!!! and everyone in the theater (and it was full!)look at us Good times !!

2)My Grade and me were going to see the lion,the witch and the wardrobe(this was in Gr.4 i think)so i was really annoying cz gr.4s from other schools came and every time some thing good happen everyone would clap so it was like the 5 time they clap and i stood up and yelled would u all just stop clapping!and they actually did

I have a couple funny moments from when me and four friends saw the midnight premier of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

1) When Neville finally got the Expelliarmus spell right, I started clapping (and I had a Neville shirt on, too), and got the entire theater to clap with me.

2) When Sirius died, my friend Brittney promptly jumped and screamed "NO!" right as it was dead quiet.

3) When Harry and Cho were kissing, y'know how they STRETCHED IT OUT SO FREAKING MUCH. Yeah, well some guy in the middle of the theater was like "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! WE GET IT, JESUS CHRIST, GET A ROOM!"

4) And then at the end when Fudge finally says "He's back", there must've been about 20 people (myself included) that all shouted "NO SHIT!" at the exact same time.





Oh, and I can't forget when I went to see The Strangers with my mom and 2 friends.
When the guy shot his friend because he thought it was the guy with the mask, but you know it's his friend, it got unusually quiet, and I decided to sink down in my seat and yell out, "YOU. DUMB. SHIT."
The other people in the theater thought it was pretty hilarious.
