Well, I did it. I got tattooed today with my tribute to Mr. Cook. I was actually taped by Fox 10 News AM on being the biggest Mr. Cook fan in AZ. They will air the segment on Monday or Tuesday. It was a lot of fun and so great to be able to do it. I will post a link when it airs but in the meantime, here's a picture of the tattoo.

Thank you for the compliments. It is actually my 7th tattoo. Each one tells a story about what was going on in my life at the time I got it.

Of course it hurts!! They use a needle!! But, after a little bit, you become numb and then it doesn't feel so bad. Plus, once they start, there is no turning back!!! LOL

lol I've been wanting the same thing! Only just above my palm, on my wrist. A small to medium sized celtic cross in blue, black and green.

Now...for the guts to do it! That's a whole 'nother thang!

I wonder what David would think if he knew his own design was a tattoo? Probably just shrug his shoulders, LOL.

Omg, that is just awesome!!!!!! I so want a DC tatoo of my own, but I will be in the dogpound (really, sleeping behind the foxterrier's back) for the rest of my life when I try a stunt like that.

I can't really get his name, as my husband would probaby MORE than frown on that.
And I don't want anything too obvious, but at the same time, I want it to represent this amazing journey we, as fans, have taken with David..I'll have to ponder a bit more!

The taped segment from Fox 10 Morning News will air tomorrow between 8 & 9am. I will post a link if it's on their website.

I was so hoping Mr. Cook would somehow see this tribute to him and maybe I would be able to meet him but I guess not. I have several gifts to give him, including the Word Nerd album for him to put all the postcards from the tours in and no way to get them to him.

I've talked to several people who work for the arena and they are not helpful at all.

Oh well, I will have this with me forever and maybe someday I will get to show it to him.
