12. What's your worst habit?
I don’t know that this is a habit, but when you're turning the volume up on the radio — you know, you get the numbers from zero to 50 — the number always has to be an even number or a multiple of five for me. I'm a bit of a neurotic that way.
OMG! That is so ME!

Thanx for posting!

Those were good questions for David! I like when he answers about toothpaste, "Why do I remember that?" How cool would it be to just be his friend and to be able to talk about anything and everything w/ him?! ...And have him laugh that infectious laugh at something you said, then you laugh and then you laugh so much that you don't remember why you were laughing!.....whoops, kinda went off on my own little Chrissy n' Cookie fantasy moment there!

....aaaa....David's awesome!

I know. I totally think about hanging out with him when I watch TV and find stupid things funny. I just want to snuggle with him and talk and laugh hysterically (well, maybe that's not all . . .)

13. What's the last song you listened to on your iPod?
"Breathe" by Anna Nalick.I'm also neurotic about that, when I'm listening to a song (just in my car) Ih has to be either 10, 15, 20, 25 or when is a song that I truly like 30. But seriously when someone turns it up or down I immediately get the number in a multiple of five (stupid wheel remote control, so nobody notices, haha).
And Anna Nalick is a great singer, and breathe has to be one of my favourites songs right now, he has good taste in music.
Damn! nice questions, they're a little out of the ordinary.
Thanks for the post!

I love that Seventeen magazine is the first interview in weeks that finally asked some new questions. Fine journalism, for sure. lol...
For the record, I loved Three to Tango. The scene where Neve Campbell and Matthew Perry vomit up tuna melts has made me dislike tuna ever since.

I love the 'randomness' of the questions!
And yes...increments of 5 is how I am. If someone jacks with the sound, and I
know it's not set that way...I have to go change it!
My family knows this...and makes me crazy with it!!

So does this mean that he got the dog he wanted? (Although if he named it Penny, that's not exactly the same as a Great Dane named Turpitude or Bituminous or whatever it was he said he wanted to name a dog when he got one.)
For the record, I must have the volumn at 11, 16, 21 or 42. 11 is my b-day, 16 is my anniv, 21 is the number my husband wore when he played baseball, and 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything. Screw the multiples of 5! I want 11, 16, 21 or 42.
We're all nutty in our own ways, aren't we?

I loved this! Cool questions. This is the kind of interviews I would like to see...learning little bits and pieces of him. I understand about the radio thing, and the BK sandwich used to be my favorite too! And I saw that Will Ferrell video a while ago and laughed so hard...very funny.

2. Who's your celebrity crush?
Not sure, actually. I’m gonna say Burt Bacharach.
4. What's the girly movie you secretly love?
Three to Tango.
5. What's your TV guilty pleasure?
Mythbusters.
12. What's your worst habit?

• i love Burt Bacharach's work, he's simply amazing!
• used to like Three To Tango until i watched Garden State
• i watch Mythbusters religiously
• same bad habit but i think i'm worse since i can't let the air-conditioning tempreature be in odd numbers, can't have the stand fan facing me when i'm asleep, panic when the clock is like 20 or more minutes early/late and many more.
i love the fact he listens to Anna Nalick, i love her. but BK's chicken sandwich is so salty! ew...

Awesome interview. And original at that!
What's a girl fashion trend that confuses you?
The whole uncomfortable-shoes thing. I understand to a degree the "pain is beauty" thing, but the whole scrunching your toes into a shoe that's two sizes too small because it matches your dress seems a little absurd to me.
My sentiments exactly.
haha but it's not because the shoe is 2 sizes too small, it is more the design/cut of the shoes that made it uncomfortable (yet we insist on wearing it). at least to me

but the whole interview was just TOO SWEET. cookies-overload..

Thank God for an interviewer using their brains to not bore him (and us) with the same old questions. Watching The View the other day was painful: the same questions, again and again and again. Can we please get over the whole Jeff Archuletta thing now?
Btw, I see you're from The Rock. I went to Westminster. Thanks for the use of your library!

If you look at the other "Seventeen" interviews in that section (Archie, other celebs), you'll see that they use a template of mostly the same questions on everyone. Not a bad idea, especially since the questions are good! Not exactly customized to the performer, but then again you get some good, random questions that stray from the usual crap. So all in all, I like "Seventeen's" method!

Wow. Some comments/notes:
5.) Mythbusters is an awesome show! I don't watch it too much any more though because I forget when it's on, I even forgot it was still on. It's still on?! Yeah...but I used to be addicted to the show about a year ago.
10.) Will Ferrell's "The Landlord" video is one of my favorites! I even quote it on a semi-daily basis.
12.) The radio volume! I'm like that too, kind of. Like, I'll be listening to the radio in the car and I'll put it on 6 which is a bit too quiet so I'll turn it up to 8 and my mom will turn it back down to 6 and I'll complain that it's too quiet and she'll say that 8 is too loud and just to put it on 7 and it's like one of the hardest things to do. Then I usually sneak and put it on 8 when she's not looking and she never notices.

that is a fun interview -- but he can read/sing the phone book and we'll think it's fun -- 17's questions really are entertaining and nice to have the fresh info instead of the rehashed questions
my favorite: "I'm a big proponent of family"; I can tell by his comfort level holding children and of course by his closeness with his brothers and mom
