Andy is a former bandmate. He was the lead singer of the Midwest Kings (David was the backup singer). You can check out more info about Andy through his Myspace page, "To Have Heroes".

even though that provided absolutely no new information (except maybe the part about him documenting his every move on the bus)... that was THE highlight of my day. I love their sense of humor. I could barely read the subtitles so i had to keep stopping and pulling it back some.

Kind of Blair Witch in the dark there...love it!

I'm also loving David's added commentary (though the font could be a tad bigger). He's just so funny, and I hope he keeps doing it for that extra comedic touch.

And yes, PLEASE vlog from the bus! I heard his friend say "sweatpants" in response to that--too funny! (Btw, can I just take a sec to thank God for youtube? We would have never seen our fave guy's vlogs a few years ago--and definitely not from his bedroom!! Yes, I look at the bus, and think of it only as David's bedroom! haha!). Back to the buswear: I say bring it all on: sweatpants, ripped wife beater, blanky and teddybear, bigbird slippers, zit cream--nothing can take away this man's sex appeal!!

I hope David keeps vlogging while on tour, and I hope the others do as well. Behind the scenes stuff is neat to watch, especially because it's real and not run by the "powers that be" or some boring interviewer. Also, since they practically put up the Wall of Jericho between the guys' and girls' buses, I think it would be funny if the two buses communicated through vlog. I know they see each other all the time, but it would be entertaining for us fans!! And it's all about giving the fans what they want, right?!! And I want sweatpants, gosh darn it!!!

Quick Edit: About Andy...it's already been mentioned that he was the frontman of Midwest Kings and now fronts To Have Heroes. He is definitely a cutie in his own right. I had trouble reading them too, I had to go back a lot. Under David's name, it said "(Sugarfoot)", when it said 'Andy Skib', under it was 'a friend of a friend of a friend of a...', when he said that they were giving him a fancy camera, the subtitles said, "Just kidding, that would be shameless". Oh and when the website popped up, under the website name it said something like, "I'll be keeping this here for the rest of the video...just so you know." Aaaand, I think that was all the small-print subtitles.

Seeing David and Andy cutting up was a great way to start a weekend! Loved this vlog, loved the subtitles. David looked gorgeous, of course. How cool that he's hanging out with Andy. I cannot wait for all the behind-the-scenes stuff from the tour!

I'm wondering if he got the idea from his RS interview (I think that was the one) where he was fielding questions from people on video. There were two gals who came on and said "Hi I'm X and Hi I'm Y" and then their names popped up on the screen. David thought that was hilarious and make the interviewer rewind it and then chuckled and said it was awesome--that they had taken the time to edit their little video. So cute!

I also need to thank God for giving us youtube! I can't imagine what it would have been like when I was a teenager, to have my favorite star actually kind of talking to me. Aaaah!

It's just really personal, and I LOVE that he's making the videos himself, and that they aren't professionally done. It helps us to get to know him better as a person. Fabulous!
