I just found my way over here for the first time and HOLY CRAP, look at all the amazing artists on here! Color me massively impressed! I've posted all of these on the American Idol Forums and also at the Home of the Wordnerds, so I figured why not here as well. These are all scanned pencil drawings. I love to draw faces, but you will notice I get super lazy when it comes to basically everything else. I have had a blast drawing these all season long. I haven't done so many since he won, but that doesn't mean I won't if I see the right picture that inspires me. =) Thanks for looking!

Your work is really impressive. In my family my brothers, mother and I paint but only my older brother can do face drawings so awesome. I have made some, but its being a while since last time it took forever to complete the painting.

My mom is super artistic. To be honest, I'm not really good at drawing much besides faces. I could probably take a figure drawing class and learn, but I've always been really stubborn about art and I don't like to be told what to draw. I just like to let it flow. lol

Actually yes!! I am going to the August 13th show and then the August 17th show. I actually made this big sign/collage that I am going to try to get David and Michael to autograph. Here is what it looks like:

hehe I'm also a bit stubborn!!! haha my boss just told me so. But I'm right with you about "learning" to draw or paint. I think I'm a better painter or "colorist" than drawer, I could definitely take some classes about it. But I haven't paint in a long long time. So keep it up girl, never leave it cause it's really gratifying and wonderful to "produce" such pieces of art.

BTW, thaaank you for adding me as a friend, I have so few here at the board. I enjoy much to hang around here but can not always do it as much as I'd pleased. Could I ask you a favour??? Your collage is simple amazing, could you add it as a background??? 'cause Ill like to see daily on my PC-screen, if you dont mind.

I actually don't know the movie you are referring to! I took my username from the lyrics in the song of one of my fav bands. It used to be "requiem1by1" but at one point I switched AOLs before they let you transfer screen names (back in the day!) so I had to alter it.
