Ok so I'm sitting here while he's playing some baseball game on the Wii. You can do a "power shot" and the screen goes blue. Personally it kinda creeps me out and I told my nephew so. Here's our conversation:

Me: Jake thats creepy! Make it go away!
Jake: Katie it's okay just look.
Me: I'm not looking!
Jake: Just think of ponies. Cute magical ponies. Wait no!! Think about David Cook.
Then he starts chanting Davey Cook and throws in a couple "chicks man"

Boy oh boy I'm glad someone gets me hahaha!!

Oh and yesterday when he was playing he def. played against the Kansas City Royals for me!!

Jake sounds awesome Katie! I bet he figures "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!"

Ever since my niece unexpectedly jumped onto the Archie bandwagon, I'm just glad Jake hasn't been corrupted haha.

It's always good when your nieces or nephews can get you when no one else does.
I got my 8 yr old niece hooked on Cook as well. Everytime she comes over she wants me to print her a new picture of "her" Cookie.

LOL! lucky you - my 8 yr old cousin came into my room yesterday and pointed to my David wallpaper and said "Who the heck is that?!" with a look of confusion/disgust on her face. I wanted to slap her! Kids Although I am teaching my 3 yr old nephew to say "David Cook Rocks"

Hahaha we were listening to Let Go and on the second "one action... reaction" my nephew def. screamed REACTION!! He got so embarassed but it was extremely cute!

And right when I started playing Analog Heart my niece got really mad and on Straight Ahead as soon as Cookie sang "could you play me something new" she started screaming YES!! Please play something new!!
It was cute too... a bit upseting but still cute hah!

I swear I'll stop posting about my nephew (and niece) but I have one more cute thing! I was playing Midwest Kings and I asked my niece Jordan if she liked this better than Analog Heart. Conversation time:
Me: So do you like this guy better?
Jordan: Yes. Well no I like them the same.
Me: Both not that much huh?
Jordan: No I like David Cook but it gets annoying when Mom plays his music all the time.
Me: 56,000 times a day?
Jordan: More like a million. That's why I almost threw that box of cookies at you last night.
NO LIE AT THE EXACT SAME TIME... Jake looks at me and we both say: COOKIES?!?!

It was hilarious!!! This kid really does understand me!! We were thinking the exact same thing at the exacat same second! We high fived and Jordan looked all confused. We elaborated and she just walked away haha. It was priceless!
