If anyone seen "America's Got Talent" this past week i think has some idea what i mean by this post (and the odd title )

this one performer, Eli Mattson, is just amazing...the best way to describe him: a look-alike of Phil stacey, voice of Daughtry all in all, just remarkable. i honestly believe that if this guy doesnt win this whole contest, then this show has something wrong!

lol he DOES somewhat resemble phil in looks, but i have to disagree with his voice sounding like daughtry's voice. this guy's got more of a country sound. but he's good! i don't watch America's Got Talent but hope he does well!

You're so right about that! I thought he looked like someone famous... haha. And he does sound a bit like Daughtry, but I agree with ^^ that he has more of a country sound in his voice.

Thank you so so SO very much for bringing this to my attention here. What a delight! I have not been watching America's got Talent this year or really much of anything since Idol ended. This young man is a rare find, humble and self-effacing, going through a life-time already of tough times following his dream, and such a wonderful voice and presentation. I loved listening to him. I melted into a puddle of soft memories of summer evenings listening to him.

I really, truly appreciate that you posted this. I wish this fine man all the best and I feel that even if he doesn't win, if somehow another circus act upstages his subtle performance, that he has been seen now and someone is going to bring him to the whole world now.
