So, I went to the Clinique counter today at my local mall, to have a consultation re: makeup. (My eyes always seem to look squinty in pictures!) Well, I listened to DC in the car on the way to the mall--no news there! LOL Anyhow, as I went into Macy's and got closer to the Clinique counter, what do I hear but "I'm Alive"--David's version!! The woman who did my consultation told me that the overhead speaker system for the store was down, so she had a CD player and was listening to her CD of David's AI performances! She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I just love his voice." And I was like, "Uuummmm, NO, I don't mind at all!"

I then told her that it was actually because of HIM that I was doing the consultation, and so I talked about the guitar and the pics, etc. Then, while she is putting on lip-liner and lipstick, I just broke into a huge grin when they played "Hello"...I apologized and explained that I had never been a cougar before (LOL!), and I didn't know what it was that he does to me. She just smiled and said, "That's ok, honey--he just has an aura about him that women of all ages love. He has a great voice and his music is beautful." I said, "Well, it doesn't hurt that he is some awesome eye candy, too!" and she laughed...

Anyhow, I just thought I would share this with all of you, because I know you guys can relate...

that is so cool!! to run into someone like that and find out they are a big fan too!! i understand what you're saying though. i'm on a bit of an overload. then with lindz's encounter i'm just all GAHHHHHHHHHHH again!! one of my coworkers came into my office the other day (of course music was playing) and asked, "are you still listening to david cook?" well i told him no because i simply have to take a small break now and then. otherwise, i'm afraid my heart and my brain will implode. i can SEE him singing every single song i listen to. even if i've never seen him sing it, like anything from analog heart, or from axium. but i've just got all his mannerisms from his singing down so pat that i can truely "see him" singing. i swear to god, when the alarm goes off in the morning i have a david cook song in my head. wow.

That is awesome! I would love to have someone around that would want to talk about him. My family thinks that I am crazy. Yea, crazy for David!!!
