You know, I wasn't sure if David fully understood just what's going on with us crazy fans... if he really was fully aware of the magnitude of his fan support... until now. He's always expressed gratitude in his humble way, but now I think he's very, very aware, and extraordinarily appreciative. This is making me feel good today because I, like so many of you, just have felt compelled to meet him and tell him all of this. But Lindz and her peeps did the job for us! This is a love fest between performer and fans... between star and fans... and I'm pretty convinced that this is how our relationship with him will always be. Springsteen never really changed... he still walks into a Jersey Shore club and plays to thrilled local crowds. David will be the same... just a little less accessible, for obvious reasons. But no man who is this genuinely humble, sincere and down right nice, down to his core, ever really changes.

I think it's so cool that he wants people to make copies and just get his music out there. That's what he was begging people to do when he was playing in bars, and he's still asking people to do the same thing even now. I said "THAT'S MY BROTHER'S!"
And David said, "WHY YOU THROWIN MONEY AT ME!?!"

and that's when he decided that he was gonna come up and bring everyone with him.
