Lindz, I agree with annie above. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Loved your "play by play" as well as the pics. I am counting down the days until the 5th in Vegas, baby!!! I totally would like to have some stalker tips as well. Where did you hang out to meet them? What caught their eye?

I would absolutely love to meet David (as well as all the other idols) in person. The only problem is that I will need to hire and/or bribe someone as young as you are so that I can pretend to be their mother! I am old enough to be David's mother so it would seem kind of creepy that I want so much to meet him. If I had a daughter, that might make it okay to "stalk". LOL!

Aside from a "cougarish" kind of attraction (of which I am so ashamed since I have a 17 year old son!), I just would love to see for myself and verify all of what we learned throughout the season as well as what you just told us. I love that he is such a nice guy and would love just to be around him for a little while. One of those great hugs would probably make my millenium, too! I can just imagine that it would make one feel much better as he seems to be an expert hugger. I also find myself wanting to give him advice that I am sure he does not want or need. That is the mother in me coming out. I just want him to be happy. If I do meet him, I promise to refrain from offering unwanted advice as it would reflect badly on the rest of the word nerds!

I must say I am rather addicted to Cookie. My husband and son are ready to send me to some kind of DC rehab, LOL!!! AI (mostly David) and Analog Heart are all over my DVR, MP3 player and computer and I watch/listen every chance I get. They are seriously sick of it but are learning to live with it!

Lindz, as was requested before please share anything you can think of. You made my day today, girl!

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that David Cook freaking SKIPPED to see you. That is just too damn funny to me. He seems to really love life, and live it fully. I'm so happy for him, and hope this is the start of a wondeful new journey for him.
